1 c Powdered milk

Mix together well. Butter the childs hands, and have them shape dough into balls, trees, animals, etc. Then eat and enjoy. (Note: This dough is somewhat sticky, so a child who gets frustrated easily may need the parent to help.)

Hey loves! Today I’m going to be showing you how to make the ultimate edible cookie dough recipe for ONE person (so you don’t have to share it with anyone!)It takes no more than 5 minutes to make and I can guarantee that you’ll have a wonderful dessert ready for you to eat in no time at all. There’s absolutely no e coli or salmonella risk if you eat the cookie dough, unlike regular cookie dough which has raw eggs in it (but let’s be honest, we all have had raw cookie dough before!) Another bonus from this recipe is that there is no oven required and you can make it at home without one! Right before we start with the recipe, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel because I post new videos every single week :) I also post the recipes with metric and standard measurements in the description box below so that you don’t have to do the conversions yourself because I know how annoying that can be. You can also find the replacements at the bottom of the description box in case you don’t have some of these ingredients on hand. So let’s get started with this recipe!
Recipe:
Ingredients-
- 2 tablespoons (1 oz) unsalted butter
-2 tablespoons (27.5 g) brown sugar
-2 tablespoons (25 g) granulated sugar
-⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract (just measure this using a ¼ teaspoon)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons flour (2 oz) (bake at 350 F or 180 C for 5 minutes to remove any bacteria from the flour; you can also microwave at high power for 1 minute at 15-second intervals if you don’t have an oven)
- ¼ cup (1.5 oz) chocolate chips (I used half chocolate chips and half chopped chocolate with hazelnuts, so use whatever you have at home)
Instructions-
In a small microwavable bowl, add the butter and microwave it for 10-15 seconds. The butter should be halfway between melted and softened. (It should not be completely melted)
Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix together until well combined.*
Then add the flour and mix until the ingredients resemble cookie dough. You might need to add a little more flour, but don’t add in too much or your cookie dough will end up tasting like flour.
Lastly, fold in the chocolate so that it’s well distributed in the dough.
* I accidentally added the vanilla and salt at the end in the video, but make sure to add it in with the sugars!

Replacements-
Butter: You can also use margarine or dairy-free alternatives. If you choose to use salted butter, don’t add in any extra salt
Brown sugar: Mix two tablespoons of granulated sugar with molasses/honey/maple syrup. If you don’t have any of these, double to amount of white sugar (the flavor will vary but you’ll still have some delectable cookie dough)
Milk: you can use dairy-free alternatives like almond, soy, oat milk, etc.
Chocolate chips: Use whatever toppings you have at home! You can use nuts, chopped up chocolate, fruit, etc. You could also just eat the dough without any toppings if you’d like

Chocolate Chip Chickpea Cookie Dough
2 cans chickpeas 15oz(drained and rinsed)
1 TBSP chia seeds
1/3 cup nut butter (I used cashew butter)
2 medjool or large dates, pitted
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
splash of plant milk (a few tablespoons)
2 TBSP plant based protein powder (optional)
Add all ingredients into a food processor and mix until combined. Dump into a mixing bowl and and a few more tablespoons of chocolate chips. Cover and chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Take out and put into serving containers and store for up to 5 days.
