Leftover ham on hand? Make this delicious DEVILED HAM SPREAD.
Head HERE for the full recipe:
This DEVILED HAM SPREAD is just the thing to serve at a party, enjoy as a snack or to fill your next sandwich. The fact that it’s ready in under 10 minutes, well, that’s yet another reason you’re going to enjoy it as much as we do.
When a recipe is this fabulous it’s wise to share it with other food-loving friends, as in like, everyone. PIN the recipe to a favourite Pinterest board and don’t forget to tell all your friends about it. This is just the thing you hope they’re serving the next time you visit.
Here are just a few things to remember when you make DEVILED HAM SPREAD:
EASY ENOUGH
The ingredients for this spread are readily available and we bet you already have most on hand, if not all. If you’re reading this around the holidays, best to have extra ham and cream cream cheese at the ready. This is a perfect recipe to pull together at a moment’s notice when company unexpectedly arrives or stays late.
HAMMIN’ IT UP!
We crafted this recipe with leftovers from this GLAZED OVEN-BAKED HAM. This moist, tender meat works so well when blended with the other ingredients, but the flavour of the ham is just great when prepared this way. You can also use a small pre-cooked ham available in the deli section of your grocery store if need be.
CHOP AND BLEND
This DEVILED HAM SPREAD is easy to prepare, especially if you use a food processor or handy chopper as we’ve done. Simply place everything into the canister fitted with the blade attachment and run the machine on low speed.
Because the spread can be enjoyed a number of different ways (see below) we think it should be somewhat smooth yet still a bit chunky. Process it to a spreadable consistency. Watch the video attached to this story to get an idea of what worked for us.
YOU SERVE
Don’t you just love options? That’s this DEVILED HAM SPREAD’S middle name. You can transfer the spread into a bowl and serve it with fresh veggies or these crunchy PITA CHIPS as a dip.
You can also spread a little dollop onto fancy crackers or slices of French bread to create instant party snacks. These same party snacks also taste fabulous when you eat them by yourself, laying on the sofa, reading a book - I know!
Finally, get generous and spread a heaping swipe across your favourite bread. Add the second slice and you’ve got a seriously tasty sandwich. Repeat and you’ve got two!
We know you’ll love this brilliant way of putting leftover ham to good use. DEVILED HAM SPREAD is some treat!

Betty's Deviled Ham-Cream Cheese Finger Sandwiches
Betty shares her favorite pickup food for parties--Deviled Ham-Cream Cheese Finger Sandwiches. These are easy to make, and are absolutely the tastiest!
Please subscribe:
Deviled Ham-Cream Cheese Finger Sandwiches
Several slices of dark rye bread
4.25 oz. can of Underwood Deviled Ham
8 oz. carton Philadelphia cream cheese with onions and chives
Let the deviled ham and the cream cheese set on the counter to get them to room temperature. (This is not necessary, but it makes them easier to spread on the bread--I even freeze the bread sometimes.) Take two slices of the rye bread and spread the inside of one with a generous portion of deviled ham and the other with a nice amount of cream cheese with chives and onions. Place the two slices together with the deviled ham meeting the cream cheese filling. This will form a sandwich. For a nice presentation at a party or wedding reception, take a knife and trim the crusts from the four sides of the sandwich. (I use an electric knife to do this, because it's quick and easy.) Use a knife the cut the sandwich in half from top to bottom. Repeat this with each half in order to have four fingers. Arrange them on a serving plate, and continue this process to make as many as you need. They taste so good that you may need more that you expect!

Deviled Ham Salad Spread Recipe! Noreen's Kitchen
Greetings! I had some ham steaks in the fridge that I needed to use and we have to have something yummy on hand for lunches and snacks. So I decided to make this deviled ham salad spread. This is inspired by the Underwood deviled ham in a can from my youth. Which used to be yummy, but as an adult, I find it to be a bit on the fatty side with lots of salt. It is a canned meat, after all, so I think we can do better. And we did!
I am using my food processor for this spread, but I have seen people use their meat grinder on the finest setting to grind this all up to a perfect consistency. I added some onion, sweet pickle relish, honey mustard, grainy mustard, mayo, garlic powder, celery seed and cheddar cheese to the ham and let it grind to a smooth finish. You can choose to add in other things that you enjoy such as dill pickles, pepperoncini, roasted peppers etc. You are the boss of your spread!
I hope you give this a try and I hope you love it. Remember, you can always find the recipe on my website at the link below.

Underwood Deviled Ham - Baked Ham and Eggs Recipe
I haven't had Deviled Ham in 30+ years? But last month with the pending Apocalypse I grabbed a bunch of Spam and Deviled Ham. After seeing the old recipes, I thought a few would be fun! 2 more coming. One from the 60s and one from the 1920s. I doubled the recipe below for two eggs. So one 4.25 oz can works. Thanks for watching!
Baked Ham & Eggs!
Stir 1 tsp. minced onion and 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard into the contents of a Regular Size (21/4 oz.) can of UNDERWOOD. Swirl around edges of individual baking dish or custard cup. Drop 1 egg into center. Bake in 350 degree oven about 12 minutes, or until egg is set.
