Cheese Fondue
Making your Christmas and New Year Party exciting. Be it family or friends, all of them will love this exotic starter. And you can have it with anything like fruit or chips or bread; apart from Garlic Bread and Potato Wedges as shown. Here is the recipe-
Ingredients :
3-4 tsp Butter
Finely chopped Garlic
Mix Herbs
Chilli Flakes
Salt to taste
Bread Slices (cut into small cubes)
Potato wedges (pressure cooked up to two whistles)
Chopped Coriander
1 tsp Plain Flour (Maida)
1/2 cup Milk
2 cubes grated Processed Cheese
2 tsp Cheese Powder (optional)
1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Strawberries (for serving)
Method :
Heat 1 spoon Butter in a pan
Add finely chopped Garlic
Add Mix Herbs
Add Chilli Flakes
Add Salt to taste
Add Bread Slices cut into small cubes
Toast until nice golden-brown and crisp
Transfer Garlic Croutons in a plate
Further in a same pan, add some Butter
Add Potato wedges
Add finely chopped Garlic
Add Salt to taste
Toss them and cook until crisp
Sprinkle some Chilli Flakes and Coriander
Further heat a deep base pan for Chilli Fondue
Add 1 tsp Butter
Add 1 tsp Plain Flour (Maida)
Cook until light golden-brown
Gradually add 1/2 cup Milk and keep stirring
Add 2 cubes grated Cheese
Keep stirring and add 2 tsp Cheese Powder
Turn off the heat when it turns thicker
Further add 1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Gently stir the mixture & take it into Fondue Pot
Place a lit a candle below
Sprinkle some Chilli Flakes on top
Enjoy this Exotic Cheese Fondue with Potato Wedges, Garlic Croutons & Strawberries

Ingredients
Vegan Cheese Sauce:
1 tsp oil
2 cloves garlic minced
1 medium-large (200 g) potato peeled
1 cup (150 g) chickpeas or white beans (canned), drained and rinsed
3 tbsp (50 g) cashew butter
1 cup (240 ml) dry white wine
1 cup (240 ml) dairy-free milk
3 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
2 1/2 tbsp (20 g) tapioca starch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
For Serving:
Bread cubes

CHEDDAR CHEESE FONDUE
1lb cheddar cheese, shredded by hand (do not use pre-shredded cheese)
2T flour
1c milk
1t grated onions or shallots
1t Worcestershire sauce
Dash of cayenne
Salt to taste
Dredge cheese with flour. Heat milk in fondue pot (or saucepan on stove). Add onion and bring milk to a near boil. Stir in cheese a handful at a time, continuing to heat and stir until cheese is melted. Add Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, and salt. Serve alongside cubed french bread, roasted vegetables, apple slices, and any other dippers you can think of! Serves 4.

Classic Cheese Fondue - Food Wishes
Cheese fondue is one of those iconic recipes that I’ve never gotten around to filming. One of those reasons was the lack of a proper fondue set, but that changed after a trip to a second hand store. With that excuse gone, I was down to finding an authentic recipe that would be both easy, and foolproof. Enjoy!
