Ingredients 4 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon sugar 2 each eggs, beaten 1 cup milk 1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions: Here is a local recipe for a sweet crunchy treat that you usually see at festivals with confectioners sugar all over them. They sell in bags of about a dozen. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine beaten eggs with milk. Fold in dry ingredients and add melted butter. On floured board knead dough as you do for bread. Make into small balls and roll out to about five inches. Fry in hot fat about one minute on each side. Prick with fork while cooking. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Best Buñuelos and Syrup // Step by Step ❤️
Christmas time comes with so many traditional dishes, and Buńuelos are on the top of the list for me, it’s the perfect ending to any meal. Buñuelos are a quickly fried tortilla disk then sprinkled with a combination of cinnamon and sugar. Syrup is the perfect addition to the buñuelos, you can drizzle it or you can break your buñuelo apart then dunked in the delicious syrup made out of piloncillo (compressed brown cane sugar) and cloves, cinnamon, star anise, orange and lemon rind and water. I hope you give this delicious recipe a try. ❤️

I've been thinking about these Buñuelos since April! These are so good! Buñuelos are basically fried flour tortillas, either covered in cinnamon sugar or dipped in a piloncillo, or sugar cane, syrup, like this! This is another Mexican staple around Christmastime and surprisingly easy to make!
Make these, you won't be disappointed!

How to Make Buñuelos
Buñuelos tossed in powdered sugar are often enjoyed during the holiday season, especially around Christmas and New Year's. But these are too good to only bake once a year! Bunuelos are a beloved treat in Mexican households and are often served with hot chocolate, coffee, or other warm beverages. These tasty sweet dough balls are fried to a golden crisp on the outside and are soft and fluffy on the inside. Buñuelos are equally yummy when rolled in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with honey. #imperialsugar #buñuelos
