3 pounds chicken thigh,skinless, boneless
cut in 1"
cubes 4 ounces soy sauce
4 ounces bourbon
4 cloves garlic (or more) :
pressed
2 pieces fresh ginger -- grated
2 ounces olive oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
Chicken- Usually legs or thighs, however any part will do. Mix marinade. Spread chicken in a single layer in a shallow pan and cover with marinade. The longer it marinates, the better the flavor. Preheat oven to 350. Bake for 45 min. It can be grilled or broiled.

INGREDIENTS
2 lbs (907 g) boneless skinless chicken thighs
2 tsp seasoned salt (or just salt)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt free lemon pepper
GLAZE
3 Tbsp (60 g) unsalted butter
2 Tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
1/2 cup (160 g) honey

Bourbon Chicken Slow Cooker
Crock Pot Bourbon Chicken
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp crushed red chili flakes
1/3 cup apple juice
1 1/2 Tbsp honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
3 Tbsp cider vinegar
1/4 cup Bourbon
1/4 cup soy sauce
salt & pepper to taste
3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
3 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup sliced green onions (or more to taste)
Mix first nine ingredients in a small bowl. Place chicken
in slow cooker, pour sauce over top. Cover and cook on low
6-7 hours or on high 3 hours. Remove chicken and chop
into bite sized pieces and cover to keep warm. Meanwhile,
combine 3 tablespoons water with cornstarch. Turn slow
cooker up to high. Whisk cornstarch slurry into the sauce.
Cover and allow to thicken, stirring occasionally (about 10
minutes). Stir chicken back into the sauce and add in green
onions. Serve over rice.

Cooking Instructions
Sear chicken 3-4 minutes each side. Remove from heat and add sauce to pan. Allow sauce to come to a light boil and simmer for 10 mins add chicken back in. Allow sauce to thicken around chicken. Once Sauce starts to thicken and stick to the chicken remove from the heat and allow to cool. Serve and enjoy!
Bourbon Chicken Recipe
3 Lbs Boneless Chicken Thighs
Seasoned with Smoked Paprika, Pepper, Onion and Garlic Powder Enough to Coat Chicken
Chopped Green Onions and Sesame seeds for garnishment
Sear Chicken on a Medium to Medium High heat. Allow to sear for 3-4mins each side. Once chicken releases freely from the pan the sear is complete.
Bourbon Sauce
1 Cup Water (Can cut the water in half if using chicken breast to prevent from overcooking)
2/3 Cup Lite Soy Sauce
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1/3 Ketchup
1 TBSP Red Pepper Flakes
2 TBSP Rice Wine Vinegar
1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
3 Cloves Garlic Minced
1/4 Tsp Ginger Minced
1/4 Cup Bourbon
Serve with Rice or Pasta and you are in the game!
1/3 Cup Apple Juice
1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
2TBSP Cornstarch/ 1TBSP Water Slurry
How to Flambé remove pan from the heat and allow to cool slightly to prevent bourbon from splattering. Add about a 1/4 cup of bourbon and light with a long stick match or lighter. Add back slowly add back to heat and and allow flame to reduce. If flame becomes to high remove from the heat. And as always practice safety first.
