Margaret Fox: life of a local Chef
Margaret Fox: life of a local Chef. Recorded April 20, 2023 at Fort Bragg Branch Library. Filmed by Michael Carroll
Life of a Local Chef: Margaret Fox spun a story of family and food, transporting us from childhood days in Berkeley to cooking adventures in 1970s Mendocino. There, she became the owner and chef of Cafe Beaujolais -- a favorite restaurant of locals and tourists.
The event also celebrated Six California Kitchens (Sally Schmitt), the Mendocino County Reads selection for 2023, with gift copies made possible by the State Library's Book to Action grant.
Mendocino County Reads is supported in whole or in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
