1 lb Navy beans 1 lb Prunes 1 qt Cut carrots 1 1/2 qt Cut potatoes 1 lb Beef stew meat 1 Onion Salt and pepper 12 Whole cloves Soak 1 pound navy beans overnight. Cook beans, prunes, beef and vegetables separately. Do not drain. Mix all together and simmer until the flavors are mixed.

Fry your onions with garlic Add your spices Add your beef Make sure your meat is well coated with the spices Allow to cook until there's no liquid left Then add 2 cups of water with knorrox cube Close lid and allow to cook until all the liquid runs out Check to see if your meat is tender if not add more water and cook further When your meat is cooked to perfection and your carrots Add your origanum and mixed herbs Add the beans to your beef,stir thoroughly Lower your heat and allow to cook for at least 7 minutes. Remove all cinnamon sticks Allow to cool
I served this with steamed bread.

In this easy cooking video, I make some beef and bean soup in my crock pot, or slow cooker. The ingredients I used in my easy crockpot recipe are a beef chuck roast, a 20 oz bag of bean soup mix, 4 carrots, and 7 1/2 cups of water. I seasoned my beef and beans with onion powder, kosher salt, and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper to taste. The cooking time is 6 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low. Fresh corn (you can use frozen) 1 Medium Chopped onion 1 1/4 C. Chopped celery 1 1/4 C. Chopped carrots (i used 3 skinny long ones) 1 C. Frozen peas 4 Large garlic cloves (minced) 2 14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes 2 1/2 Tbsp Olive Olive Oil (divided) 2 tsp dried BASIL 1 1/2 tsp dried THYME 1 1/4 tsp OREGANO 1 tsp Crushed ROSEMARY 3 tsp sugar (not 2) 2 Bay leaves 1/2 Can Tomato paste (3oz) Pepper as needed Salt as needed 1 Tbsp BEEF BOUILLON (I used KNORR) 3 tsp Lemon juice (start with 1 or 2 if you like) 7 C. Beef broth Chopped parsley (for garnish) All Purpose Flour (as needed for meat)
