How To make Barbecued Skewers Of Fish Seekh Ki Machali
1 lb Firm white fish
1 ts Salt
6 Cloves garlic
1 1/2 Inch fresh root ginger
1 tb Garam masala
1 tb Ground coriander
1 ts Cayenne pepper
4 oz Plain yoghurt
1 tb Veg. oil
1 Lemon
2 Hot green chili peppers
Fillet and skin fish, then cut into 11/2 inch cubes. Put about 5 pieces on each skewer and sprinkle with salt. Make a paste from the garlic, ginger, spices, and yoghurt and use to cover the fish. Leave for a few hours, then grill. The skewers can be sprinkled with a little oil during cooking, if required. Garnish with the lemon cut into wedges and fine rings of seeded green chili pepper. from Favorite Indian Food by Diane Seed -----

Ingredients:
1/2 kg Fish
2 Bread Slices
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
1 & 1/2 tsp Red crushed pepper
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Carom seeds
1 tsp Fenugreek leaves
2-3 Green chilies
1/4 cup Coriander leaves
1 cup onion
1 egg
Directions:
-In a chopper add fish, bread slices, ginger garlic paste, red crushed chili, garam masala, salt, and cumin powder, chop it well.
-In a bowl add fish mixture, onion, fenugreek, green chili, coriander leaves, egg, carom seeds and mix it with hands.
-Take a hand full of fish mixture and make a kebab on the stick.
-Shallow fry in a pan or grill over a medium heat.
-Serve with raita or chutney.
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Serving: 2-3 persons

Grilled Fish
Ingredients:
Fish slice 500 grams
Cumin 2 tsp
Carom seeds 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red chili 2 tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Lemon juice 4 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Crushed coriander 1 tbsp
All spice powder ½ tsp
Oil 4 tbsp
Method:
Wash the fish slices and then add all ingredients and leave for half an hour .after this sewing in the skewers and bake 180 Degree centigrade for half an hour.

Masoor ki Daal Chawal
Ingredients:
Soaked rice ½ kg
Salt 1 tsp
Chicken cubes 1
Onion 1
Green chili 4
Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Oil 5 tbsp
For red lentil:
Red lentil ½ kg
Button chili 12
Cumin 1 tsp
Whole coriander 1 tbsp
Fennel 1 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Salt 1-1/2 tsp
Onion 1
Tamarind juice 1 cup
Garlic cloves 10
Green coriander ½ bunch
Small green chili 10
Oil ½ cup
Method:
Heat oil and add cumin then add garlic ,salt and onion mix .when onion brown then add 2 cup of water and then add soaked rice .after this add chicken cubes and green chili add .when rice water dry then leave on dum .finally serve with lentil .
For making lentil wash the lentil and add onion and water add then cook on low flame .now add crushed spices in lentil then add salt and turmeric mix .when lentil tender then add tamarind juice mix .after this small green chilies and garlic add and do the tempering on lentil .finally sprinkle the green coriander.
