3 1/2 c Tomato juice
16 oz Chicken, cooked & cut up
2 sm Raw Potatoes, diced
1 md Eggplant, cut up
1 lg Raw Onion, diced
6 Celery Stalks with Greens,
-diced 28 oz Green Beans, drained
12 oz Fresh or
8 oz -canned Mushrooms, drained
1 tb Oregano
Garlic, to taste Onion Powder, to taste Parmesan Cheese, grated Place all ingredients in a crock pot in the order listed (except for the cheese) , cover and cook 8-10 hours on medium. Serve with cheese. Makes 20 cups. Source: "The Yankee Kitchen" 03-31-93 (#6) [Joan]

How To Make Iraqi White Beans and Beef Stew/ #Recipe188CFF

Yabsaa (White Bean with beef stew ) Yabsaa is the most popular stew in Iraq . very delicious and healthy.
Ingredients:-
-2 cups dry white beans washed and soaked in water overnight
-2 lb. Meat (Beef or Lamb) stew plus some meat pieces with bones
-2 to 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
-1 medium onion diced into small pieces
-Salt, black pepper, red hot pepper and citric acid to taste. ( could be lemon juice )
- 4 Tbsp. oil
Preparations:-
- After you soaked the Beans overnight. drain the water and throw out those that didn’t bumped up and they still very hard and small.
- Add clean water to the Beans and cook without any salt until they get soft. Drain from the water and keep the water.
- Cook the meat in water until the meat is fully cooked and tender about 1 ½ to 2 hours under medium flame. Add salt when the meat is half way cooked.
- Heat the oil in a medium pot and then add the diced onion and cook for a few minutes then add meat without the broth. Let onion and the meat sauté for a few minutes until the onion gets translucent .
- Add in beans and mix all together for a few minutes.
- Add the meat broth and the beans broth and more boiled water if needed it so the liquid level would reach to ¾ of the pot high.
- when the liquid gets boiled add the tomato paste, salt, red and black pepper and citric acid. Mix, cover and cook over low-medium heat until the stew gets thick to you desire preference .
- Check the stew if it is needed any adjustment for the salt , black pepper and citric acid.
-Turn the heat off and let the stew rest at least 20 minutes before serving time.
- Serve with white rice .

Arabian Lamb Stew Recipe
1 Kg. Lamb/Mutton
1 Large onion, chopped
4 Garlic cloves, chopped
¼ cup tomato paste
1 large potato, cubed
2 Zucchinis, sliced into thick slices
2 Carrots, sliced into thick slices
Salt to taste
5 whole cardamoms
5 whole cloves
½ tsp. cumin seeds
2 tsp. Lebanese 7 spice mix (or garam masala)
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Clean, cut and wash lamb. Drain and set aside. Heat a pan and add the chopped onjon, fry till light brown. Add the lamb and cook on high till the water almost dries up and lamb changes color. Add the whole spices and garlic and stir. Add the tomato paste and water and let it boil, lower heat and cook for one hour. Then add the potatoes, zucchini & carrots, and salt and cook further 15 to 20 minutes. Add some hot water if required. When meat and vegetables are tender, turn off heat. Serve hot with rice or bread.
