How To make Anne's Chicken For Crock Pot
Ingredients
1
each
frying chicken, cut up
1
salt & pepper
1
each
can cream of mushroom soup
1/2
cup
sauterne OR sherry
2
tablespoon
butter OR margarine, melted
2
tablespoon
dry italian salad dressing mix
2
each
cream cheese (3 oz pkgs), cut in cubes
1
tablespoon
onion, chopped
Directions:
Wash chicken and pat dry. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in crock pot. Sprinkle with dry salad mix. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
About 3/4 hour before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, wine, and
onion in small saucepan. Cook until smooth. Pour over chicken in pot. Cover and cook for 30 minutes on low. Serve with sauce. Serve with rice or noodles. Serves 4 to 6.

Crockpot Chicken and Gravy | Dump and Go Crockpot Meal | Chicken Crockpot Recipe
Crockpot Chicken & Gravy
1-2 lb chicken breasts, trimmed (2-3 chicken breasts depending on size)
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 packets chicken gravy mix
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cups water
Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours, break chicken apart and serve with sides of your choice. I served this with mashed potatoes and butternut squash.
I recommend cooking on LOW for 6-8 hours but this can be cooked on HIGH for 4-5 hours.
Potatoes:
5 russet potatoes
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
generous pinch of kosher salt
pinch black pepper
1/4 - 1/3 cup heavy cream or milk
Butternut Squash:
1 large butternut squash
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp sugar
kosher salt
cinnamon

I'm always looking for a healthy, slow cooker recipe! Is it me or does it seem like most slow cooker recipes are full of not so healthy ingredients?
This is what caught my eye about this one... I really love the simple, whole food ingredients and the fact that when you get home the food is hot and ready! This recipe is based on one I found on wellplated.com.
This would be a great slow cooker recipe to prep on your lunch break... when you set it on low you can let it cook for 4-5 hours. You could also add more veggies like artichokes, spinach or zucchini in the last hour of cooking.
