EASY Crockpot Lemon Chicken
Slow-Cooked Lemon Chicken in a crockpot is the perfect meal to make in the morning and have it ready when you come home after a long day’s work. This Slow Cook makes the Chicken tender, and the lemon gives the chicken a great flavor. Add Couscous for a simple and tasty side dish.
4 - 6 Chicken Breast or Chicken Thighs
1 small Onion, sliced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 Lemon, Juice
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Italian Herbs
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
½ cup Couscous
¼ Water or Chicken Broth
2 Tablespoons Butter
Parsley, garnish
Lemon Slices, garnish
1. Place all the ingredients into the slow cooker and mix to thoroughly combine the seasoning.
2. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or set to the appropriate cook time.
3. Optional, when chicken is cooked, put the chicken on a baking sheet and place in the oven on broil to brown the chicken for about 5 minutes depending on your oven.
4. In the crockpot, add Couscous, Water, and Butter. Mix to combine and cover and let sit until chicken is golden brown.
5. At this point, the chicken can rest in the crockpot to keep warm or serve immediately.
6. Garnish with Parsley and Lemons.
Note: This recipe can be easily adapted to Instant Pot or Stock Pot over low heat on the stove.

Crockpot Lemon Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
5-6 Chicken Thighs
2-3 Lemons (Juiced)
4 Cloves Garlic(minced)
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
1 TSP Garlic Salt
1 TSP Lemon Pepper
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Onion powder
1 TBS Italian Seasoning
1 TSP Each Water/Cornstarch for Slurry
Directions:
Clean and Pat Dry Chicken
Squeeze the juice from 2-3 lemons
Mix together seasonings for a Rub and season chicken
Chop 4 cloves of garlic
Sear chicken on each side 2-3 mins
Add Chicken to crockpot
Add Chopped Garlic
Add Lemon Juice
Top with Sliced Lemons and Parsley
Cook on High for 2.5 hours
After 2.5 Hours
Optional: Add cornstarch slurry to thicken chicken Sauce
Serve and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
6-8 Medium boneless chicken thighs 2 pounds
Rub for Chicken
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon thyme dry
1½ teaspoon oregano dry
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
olive oil to coat chicken and more to sear chicken
2 tablespoons dijon mustard divided
2 teaspoons lemon zest ½ lemon zested
Lemon Garlic Sauce
½ cup low sodium chicken stock
2 tablespoons white wine
2 tablespoons lemon juice ½ lemon juiced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into small cubes and more to sear chicken
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
4-5 cloves garlic half minced and rest kept just on top of chicken
30-minute before serving
1 cup Half and Half
parsley for garnish
lemon slices for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Rub Chicken with Dijon Mustard, all-purpose flour, Thyme, Oregano, Olive Oil, Lemon Zest, Salt, and Pepper.
In a pan melt butter and add some olive oil. Once the oil shimmers, add chicken thighs skin side down and sear for 5-minutes.
Transfer chicken directly from the pan into the crockpot. Pour the remaining oil from the skillet into the crockpot. Add remaining dijon mustard, low sodium chicken stock, white wine, lemon juice, garlic, unsalted butter cubes, salt and pepper. Cover with a glass lid and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
Just 30-minute before serving, open the lid and pour 1 cup half and half into the crockpot. No need to combine. Cover the lid and cook for the remaining time.
Finally, garnish and serve with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices.

SLOW COOKER LEMON CHICKEN

RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1½ pounds boneless chicken breasts or chicken tenderloins work great
.60 oz. package dry zesty italian salad dressing mix
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon cooking oil
½ cup FRESH lemon juice (about 2 large lemons, do not use bottled lemon juice)
½ cup chicken broth
SLOW COOKER SIZE: 3-quart or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut the chicken breasts into 2 pieces length wise, so you have 2 thin pieces of chicken breasts.
Put dressing packet and flour in the ziplock bag. Add the chicken to the bag, and shake to coat the chicken.
Set a large skillet on the stove-top over medium high heat. Add the cooking oil. When the oil is hot brown the chicken on both sides. No need to cook through.
Add browned chicken to the slow cooker. Pour over the lemon juice and chicken broth.
Place lid on slow cooker.
Cook on HIGH for 3 hours, without peeking.
Make sure to drizzle lemon sauce from bottom of the slow cooker onto the chicken when serving.
Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy.

Hi guys, welcome to Marks Home Kitchen. In todays recipe video I'm going to introduce you to one of my new favourite recipes: slow cooker lemon and garlic chicken.
This dish is easy to make, full of flavour and perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.
Simply season and gently fry off the chicken breasts, mix together with the garlic, stock, onions and lemon and let the slow cooker do the rest.
The result is tender, juicy chicken in a delicious lemon and garlic sauce.
