How To make Aloha Chicken
2 1/2 lb Chicken pieces; skinned
2 Chicken Bouillon cubes;
-Borden Low Sodium 1 tb Margarine;
1 c Green pepper; diced (1 med.
-pepper) 1 c Radishes; thinly sliced
1 c Pineapple chunks; canned,
-unsweetened 1/2 c Juice from pineapple;
1 ts Light soy sauce;
2 tb Flour;
ds Pepper; 4 1/2 c Rice; cooked
Chow mein noodles; optional Simmer the chicken in water with bouillon cubes. Remove meat from bones and cut into chunks. Save 1 cup of chicken broth. While chicken is cooking, melt margarine in frying pan or wok and saute the radishes, green peppers, and pineapple until crisp tender, but not brown. (Put rice on to cook.) Mix 1 cup saved chicken broth with 1/2 cup pineapple juice and 1 tsp. soy sauce. Add to pan. Mix flour with 1 Tb. cold water and stir to remove lumps. Add to vegetables. Add cut up chicken and a dash of pepper, and cook until everything is hot. Serve over rice. If desired, sprinkle chow mein noodles on top. Serves 6. (Portion is 3/4 cup mixture served over 3/4 cup cooked rice.)

Hawaiian Chicken
Hawaiian chicken with a juciy pineapple and tangy sauce. Serve it with steamed rice .

Ingredients
1.3 pounds chicken thighs
Salt and pepper to salt
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1 onion
Garlic 2 cloves
I cup pineapple
For sauce
1 cup pineapple juice
Soya sauce 1/2 cup
Chicken broth or water 1/2 Cup
Brown Sugar 2-3 tbsp
Cornflour 2tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp

Aloha Chicken
Aloha Chicken Main Dish
Serves 6
Ingredients
Cooking spray
6 skinless chicken thighs
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
¾ cup sweet barbecue sauce
2 cups red pepper, sliced
1 can pineapple chunks, 20 ounces, drained
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.
Pat chicken dry with paper towel, set to the side.
In a small bowl mix chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Coat chicken on both sides with mixture.
Place chicken in pan.
Top chicken with barbecue sauce.
Spread peppers and pineapple around the chicken.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Garnish: 1 single serving on plate.
Tips:
Serve over cooked whole grain rice.
Make your own barbecue sauce using ½ cup ketchup, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons vinegar and 2 tablespoons mustard.
