Almond Joy Poundcake - with yoyomax12
If you love Almond Joy chocolate bars, you will enjoy this cake.

Condensed milk pound cake:
1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter (softened to room temperature)
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
3 large eggs
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla extract.
Grease two loaf pans and line with parchment paper (grease tops of parchement).
Combine flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, beat in the eggs one at a time and then add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla and mix until blended.
Add dry ingredients to the wet mix and blend until combined.
Divide equally between the two pans.
Bake at 325 F for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Cool for about 10 minutes and then remove them from pans to cool completely on wire racks.
Topping:
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups sweetened flaked coconut
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup of roasted unsalted whole almonds.
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup cream or milk
In a large bowl combine the sweetened condensed milk, sweetened flaked coconut, salt, vanilla and powdered sugar.
Divide the mixture into two equal portions.
Form each portion into rough rectangle shape the same size as the top of the poundcake.
Place this on top of the cake and sprinkle with almonds, pressing them into the topping to make them stick.
Repeat with other cake.
Heat cream until just about boiling and then pour in the chocolate chips into hot cream. Allow to sit for a few minutes and then stir until smooth.
Pour chocolate over cakes allow to set in the refrigerator.

ANOTHER BOX CAKE MIX HACK......ALMOND JOY CAKE
Hello everyone ...Yall already know why I'm here. If it's cake , candles, coffee even coupons I'm here. Today we kick off what's called my summer series of candy and soda flavor cakes. Today is all about almond joy, now as a child I never really enjoyed this candy...maybe it was to sophisticated for my pallet .However now when I indulge it's one of my favs. You can also make a mounds vs only if someone has nut allergies, just omit the almond extract along with the almonds. Remember written recipe is always down below and enjoy.
1 box duncan hines perfectly moist coconut cake mix
1 box duncan hines devils food cake mix
6 eggs (3 eggs per cake)
2 cups whole milk (1 cup per cake)
1 box coconut cream pie instant pudding mix
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
3/4 cup sour cream reserved for coconut cake layer
3/4 cup cold coffee/ espresso
3/4 melted chocolate reserve for chocolate batter
Almond joy coffee creamer (optional)
vanilla extract...almond extract...coconut extract
...In two separate bowls add chocolate dry ingredients/ coconut ingredients
add matching pudding to each bowl and combine.
3 eggs per cake and mix... I did one flavor at a time, this way my beaters would be clean when it came to the coconut layer.
5 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
1 cup milk per bowl and mix
3/4 cup almond joy creamer
to the chocolate batter add 3/4 melted chocolate along with 3/4 cold espresso or coffee
vanilla extract along with almond extract and your done with chocolate layer.

Coconut layer follow above ,however adding vanilla extract, coconut extract and 3/4 sour cream.
also adding 5 tablespoons softened unsalted butter. Along with 3/4 cup almond joy coffee creamer.
To a greased and floured tube pan layer flavors by rotating and bake on 350 (oven times vary )
I always check 25 min. THIS CAKE BAKED IN 35 MIN.
SUPER IMPORTANT TIP.....ONCE KNIFE OR SKWEER COMES OUT CLEAN...TURN OVEN OFF AND CRACK THE OVEN DOOR....THIS RELEALES STEAM...DO NOT PULL CAKE RIGHT AWAY..THIS CAKE WILL BE RISE TALL AND YOU DON'T WANT IT TO FALL.

Almond Joy Cake
Chocolate and coconut are a match made in heaven, and this cake is no exception. The addition of pecans and marshmallows takes it to the next level. - Julia Child
History:
The origin of this recipe is unknown, but it has been a beloved dessert for many years. It is often served at family gatherings and potlucks and is a classic dessert in many households.
Ingredients:
1 (19 oz) package of chocolate cake mix with pudding
1 cup sugar
1 cup Carnation evaporated milk
1 (7 oz) package of coconut
1 (10 1/2 oz) package of marshmallows
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
1 (14 oz) package of milk chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10x14x2” pan.
2. Prepare the cake mix per the package instructions and bake in the prepared pan.
3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup evaporated milk.
4. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
5. Stir in the marshmallows, coconut, and pecans. Mix well and pour over the warm cake.
6. Bring 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup evaporated milk, and butter to a boil in another saucepan.
7. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted.
8. Spread the chocolate mixture over the cake.
Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
Cooking Tips:
1. To make the cake even more decadent, add a layer of almond slices on top of the chocolate.
2. Make sure to let the cake cool completely before cutting and serving.

This is a rich and indulgent dessert and should be enjoyed in moderation. One serving of Almond Joy Cake (1/12th of the recipe) contains approximately 500 calories, 27g of fat, and 58g of carbohydrates.
