How To make World's Best Low Fat Low Cal Lasagna
Ingredients

lasagna noodles, uncooked
1
water, to cook noodles

teaspoon
salt, for water

cup
mozzarella cheese, low cal, low fat, shredded

pasta sauce, jars (8 cups)
2
pound
ricotta cheese, low-fat
1
tablespoon
sugar
1/2
cup
parmesan cheese, low-fat
3
tablespoon
parsley, flakes
1
tablespoon
italian seasoning
2
pound
turkey italian sausage
1
teaspoon
honey
1
teaspoon
salt
1
pepper to taste
4
each
eggs (or egg substitute to equal 4 eggs)
1
parmesan cheese, to taste
Directions:
Heat sufficient water in a large sauce pan to cook the lasagna noodles. Add the salt to the water to speed cooking. Add the uncooked noodles to the boiling water, and boil about 10 minutes or until flexible but not fully cooked. Drain on aluminum foil or waxed paper and cool completely.
In a large saute pan, saute turkey italian sausage until completely cooked. Crumble. Drain and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add ricotta cheese and mix in eggs whisking one at a time to blend well. Add parmesan cheese, mozarella cheese, parsley, sugar, honey, salt, italian seasoning, pepper, and mix well.
In a very large (roasting pan size) baking pan, add 1/2 cup of the sauce to the bottom. Line the bottom with lasagna noodles; add 1/2 of the cheese mixture, and then add 1/2 of the sausage on top of the cheese. Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups of sauce over this layer, top with noodles and repeat process. When the final layer of noodles is added, top with sauce and additional mozarella cheese and parmesan cheese, if desired.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes covered, then uncover and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
Serve in 4x3 inch squares.

I am doing a series on Pinch of Non recipes and today is their Low Calorie Lasagna Recipe. This weight loss lasagna recipe has become quite the craze in the weight loss world and i wanted to find out what all the fuss is about. Who are Pinch of Nom? Pinch of Nom are a weight loss website who have a range of low calorie cook books. All Pinch of Nom recipes are weight watchers and Slimming world friendly. I am trying this low calorie lasagna recipe today for the first time and prior to making it i was super skeptical.. But was i right to be skeptical about this weight loss lasagna recipe? All valid question and in this video we will find out if Pinch of Nom is the real deal or if they are another FAD.
As you will see in the video i am quite curious the whole way through cooking this low calorie lasagna recipe. Can a weight loss lasagna recipe possibly taste any good? I will be interesting to find out if Pinch of Nom recipes stand up to my scrutiny.. I couldn't wait to try this low calorie lasagna recipe, and i didn't for a second expect to enjoy this weight loss lasagna recipe. As i mentioned in the video this isn't my type of cooking.. 400 grams lean minced beef
5 squirts of olive oil spray (or half a teaspoon of olive oil)
1 white onion
1 stick of celery
1 carrot
2 cloves of garlic
1 courgette
4 mushrooms
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 tablespoon of Worcester sauce
1 tablespoon of dried Italian herbs
1 can of chopped tomatoes
70 grams of tomato puree
2 stock cubes (beef or chicken will do)
200ml cold water
6 sheets of lasagna
500 grams plain yogurt
1/2 tablespoon of mustard powder
2 eggs
120 grams of low fat cheddar cheese
