HOW TO MAKE A BREAKFAST SKILLET
______________________________________________________________
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 2 Diced Potatoes
- 3-4 Strips of Bacon
- 1/2 Bell Pepper
- Chedder Cheese
- 3 Eggs
- Postal Barbecue CHICK'N BBQ Rub
STEP #1
To prepare your breakfast skillet, I recommend gathering all your ingredients and preparing them in advance. Once everything has been chopped and diced warm up your pan on a medium heat.
SETP #2
After a few minutes, add your bacon into the skillet and begin cooking them to your preferred doneness. Once the bacon is finished add in your diced potatoes into the skillet with the bacon fat, then add a little bit of water to help cook the potatoes a little bit faster in the pan. When your potatoes are 90% done, add in your bell peppers and bacon and let everything cook for a minute just to help soften up the peppers slightly.
STEP #3
With the base of your one pan breakfast skillet done, remove it from direct heat to indirect heat then top it with a little bit of cheddar cheese followed by 3 to 4 eggs. Once the eggs are in the skillet, close the lid on the BBQ and let the eggs cook for around 10-12 minutes or until the eggs are just cooked on top. When done, remove from the grill, top with some fresh chives then dig in!

4 tbsps. oil
1/4 cup chicken broth or water

Loaded Breakfast Skillet | Delish
This will definitely be the breakfast special in your house from now on.
DIRECTIONS
1. Chop potatoes into small cubes, about 3/4-thick.
2. Place a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add bacon and fry until crispy. Turn off heat and transfer bacon to a paper towel–lined plate. Keep most of bacon fat in skillet, removing any black pieces from the bacon.
3. Turn the heat back to medium and add onion to the skillet. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until onions begin to soften. Add potatoes and toss until evenly coated in bacon fat. Pour in water and cover skillet with a large lid. (This helps speed up the cooking and prevent burning.) Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes, checking the potatoes occasionally. If they start to brown too quickly, remove the lid and add more water.
4. When the potatoes are tender, remove lid and stir in garlic, green onions, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Using a wooden spoon, make four holes in the potatoes to reveal bottom of skillet. Crack an egg into each hole and season each egg with salt and pepper. Sprinkle cheese and cooked bacon bits over the entire skillet. Replace lid and cook until eggs are cooked to your liking, about 5 minutes for a just runny egg. Serve warm.

I don't have left over steak often.. but when I do I make the most of it ????
Breakfast skillets are the best because you can put literally anything you want into it. Threw these together all the time with stuff I already have on hand.
FULL RECIPE ⬇️
INGREDIENTS
- Beef Tallow/fat or oil of choice
- ~1 lb bite size diced potatoes
- ~3/4 cup diced bell peppers
- ~3/4 cup diced onion
- ~16 oz of left over Grass Fed Ribeye
- Pasture Raised Eggs
- Trader Joe's Ajika Seasoning
- EBTB Seasoning
- Green Onions
DIRECTIONS
1. Add oil/fat of choice to cast iron on medium heat.
2. Once hot, Add in potatoes. Season generously and mix. Let cook for 10-15 min mixing occasionally.
3. Next add in the peppers/onions. Add more seasoning if needed and mix. Let cook for 8-12 min mixing occasionally.
4. Once cooked to your liking add left over steak or protein of choice. Sear steak for 1-2 min then mix it in. Lower heat and create pockets for the eggs.
5. Add eggs and let cook until white is firm. Can put a lid on it to speed up process.
6. Once done season with EBTB & Garnish with Green Onions
