There are a couple of tips to making this dish. First off, try to get a fairly good brand of tuna, as it will make all the difference in the world. I usually use Sunkist which seems to be about the best.
You could garnish with some green onions along with the parsley to add some additional flavor. This adds a really nice touch.
Give our tuna alfredo fettuccine a try and let us know what you think.

How to Make Creamy Tuna Sauce for pasta - Recipe in description
Suitable for Weight Watchers diet (7.5 P)
Preparation time: 15 minutes.
Difficulty: Easy
Calories per serving: Unspecified
Ingredients for 2 people:
1 can of tuna in water
1 large onion, diced
1 garlic clove, pressed
4 tablespoons of tomato puree (tomato paste)
1 tin chopped tomatoes
4 tablespoons of cheese (light, 10% fat content)
2 tablespoons of sour cream
Some instant vegetable stock (powder)
Lots of basil, fresh or frozen
200 grams of pasta
Salt and pepper
Some sugar
1 teaspoon of oil
Cook the pasta al dente.
Brown the onions in oil, add the tomato purée and cook together briefly. Add a little sugar, then the garlic and diced tomatoes (no need to strain them, they should be in small chunks). Pour over some vegetable broth, put a lid on top and let the sauce simmer for a few moments. Add the tuna and heat with the sauce while adding some water. Add the cheese, sour cream and basil to the sauce and stir. Season with black pepper (and some salt depending on your taste).
Mix and soak the pasta with the sauce.
The portion is then 7.5 points per person (for 2 people). On the other hand, if you want all the sauce for yourself, the figure goes up to 11 points, which is also reasonable.
You can introduce variations with cheese and sour cream to taste, calculating 0.5 tablespoons per serving.
