How To make Tender Grilled Tri Tip Jb
2 3 lbs tri tip roast
1 pk Lipton onion soup mix (beefy
-flavor is best) 1/4 c Water
3 4 tbls soy sauce
Pepper (generous amounts) Garlic powder (generous -amounts)
In a sealable bag place all ingredients. Allow roast to marinate for approximately 1.5 hours or longer. Place on grill, fat side down. Grill first side 8 minutes, turn and baste. Grill another 8 minutes. Slice roast into 1-2" thick slices. They will be rare, place back on grill for another 30 seconds or so each side. Place on warmed plate.
This is the most tender tri tip I have ever tasted. It prompts me to use my propane grill in the middle of winter because it just doesn't do the same under the broiler!!

FRENCH DIPS [Sous Vide Tri Tip]
We’re getting into a perfect sandwich. The French dip is beauty in simplicity. A good roll, sliced beef and a wonderful jus make this one a crowd favorite.
Get yourself some Meat Church rubs:
Ciabatta Bread:

280g Luke warm water
1 packet instant yeast (7g)
1 tsp salt
350g All purpose Flour
Jus
2tsp beef base + 2 cups boiling water (sub with homemade beef broth if you have it)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp thyme
Salt to taste
Caramelized onions:
2 sliced yellow onions
Salt to taste
Horseradish Sauce:
4 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp mayo
2 tbsp horseradish
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Handful of chives
Salt and pepper to taste
Sandwich:
Ciabatta
Horseradish Sauce
English Mustard
Caramelized Onions
Tri Tip
Jus to dip it in

Tri-tip - (faux brisket style) - Smoked on the Ugly Drum Smoker
So i followed the recipe by Orrie at Go Outside and cook. Se link in iCard. It was the best ever!!
Rub:
1 onion powder
1 garlc powder
1 black pepper
2 salt
4 smoked paprika
Trim and apply rub. Rest 4-5 hours.
Cook at 225f 4-5 hours until internal 175.
Put in a foil pan and add 1 cup beef broth. Cover with foil.
Bring up to 200f
Rest 1 hour
Enjoy
