How To make Steak and Cheese
2 lb Top Round Steak
1/4 c Flour
1/2 t Salt
1/4 t Pepper
1/4 t Garlic or Celery Salt
6 T Butter
1 Lg Onion, finely chopped
1 c Beef Bullion

Steak should be cut in thin slices. Pound steak out until it is about 1/4-inch thick. Combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt and rub into steak on both sides. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then cut into 8-10 serving pieces. Heat butter in a large, heavy frying pan and brown steak on both sides over moderate heat. Sprinkle with chopped onion and add bullion. Bring to a boil, cover pan, and simmer for 1 hour or until steak is tender. Sprinkle cheese and parsley over top, cover again, and cook another minute or so to melt cheese. Good served with hot fluffy rice. Source: TEXAS THE BEAUTIFUL COOKBOOK

Philly Cheese Steak Recipe
Hi guys! Let’s make a Philly Cheese Steak Recipe for the Philadelphia Eagles!
This Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is something I learned to make a long ways back, when I was working as a cook at UCR. I’m using La Brea Bakery Torta Rolls on this sandwich, along with my signature Southwest Sauce, which you can find at this link:
PS: Click the bell to be notified when I post new videos!
Here are the ingredients you’ll need for 4-6 Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches:
Bread, such as torta rolls, hoagie rolls or French bread
2- 16oz ribeye steaks, sliced paper thin
Stir Fry:
One large red onion, sliced in rings very thin
One green bell pepper, sliced in rings very thin
1/2 tsp garlic/shallot purée
8 oz. crimini mushrooms, sliced
Clarified butter as needed
Olive oil as needed
Salt and pepper as needed
Toppings:
Sliced American and Provolone cheese
Southwest Sauce: or mayonnaise/condiments of your choice
Saute onions, peppers, garlic and mushrooms with olive and seasonings of your choice until soft.
Grill sliced steak until browned. Add sliced cheese and cover with foil or a pot lid until melted.
Butter your bread and grill.
Top browned bread with grilled veggies, cooked steak/melted cheese, and top with your choice of condiments.
Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1.2kg beef brisket, silver skin removed and diced into 2.5cm cubes
- 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
- Two medium size carrots, diced
- Two brown onions, finely diced
- One stick of celery, finely diced
- 500ml beef stock
- 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 50g all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tsp cornflour
- 200g cheddar cheese
- One sheet of puff pastry
- One sheet of shortcrust pastry
Method
1. Start by seasoning your beef with salt and dusting it with flour.
2. In a large heavy-based pot (you have a lid for) over a high heat, add your grapeseed oil and let it heat up.
3. Once the grapeseed oil is hot, start sealing off your beef in batches so you don't crowd the pan.
4. Once all the beef is browned, remove from the pan and set it aside.
5. Add your onions to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes with a little salt.
6. Next, add your carrots and celery and cook for a few more minutes.
7. Add the beef back to the pot and add the Worcestershire sauce and stock.
8. Stir it, bring it to simmer and then turn down low. Cook for 2 hours or until the beef is tender but still holding together.
9. Once it's cooked, mix the cornflour with some cold water to make a slurry and while the beef stew is still over the heat stir it through to thicken up the sauce.
10. Pour this out onto a tray to cool before you start assembling your pie.
11. For the pie, start by greasing your pie tin and lay in the shortcrust pastry.
12. Line the pastry with grease-proof paper and pie weights and bake at 180°c for 20 minutes.
13. After the 20 minutes, remove the pie weights and place it back into the oven for another 15 minutes and then let it cool completely.
14. Once cool, add your beef mixture to the pie casing and top it with the grated cheese.
15. Egg wash the outside rim of the cooked pastry and lay on your puff pastry, cramping all the edges.
16. Egg wash the puff pastry and bake at 180°c for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
17. Enjoy.

Steak and Cheesy Pasta Recipe | Over The Fire Cooking by Derek Wolf
Steak and Cheesy Pasta for an epic dinner! ????????????????
Trying to branch out in my recipes recently, and decided to make a very simple Steak and Cheesy Pasta. We will start by searing off our steaks in a skillet, lowering the heat and butter basting until perfect. Next we will make the garlic cream sauce for the pasta in the same skillet as the steaks rest. Toss in your cooked pasta and you have dinner! Find this whole recipe on my blog or linked in my bio! ???? ????
