How To make Spicy Curry Sirloin Lamb Steaks with Cucumber Raita
***CUCUMBER RAITA*** 8 ounces plain yogurt
low fat
1/3 cup cucumber :
peeled, seeded and
diced 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
***CURRY RUB*** 2 tablespoons curry powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper :
up to 1/2
generous pinch nutmeg ****** 4 bone-in lamb steaks -- (1/2-inch-thick)
1. Heat grill.
2. Make Cucumber Raita: Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Cover and ref rigerate 30 minutes.
3. Make Curry Rub: Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Generously press ru b over both sides of steaks.
4. Grill steaks over medium-hot heat 2 to 3 minutes per side for medium rare. Serve with Cucumber Raita. Makes 4 servings.
The fastest way to savor lamb is grilling--it takes less than ten minutes. Fra grant spices are rubbed on the meat before cooking. Raita, a traditional yogur t-mint sauce, is served as a condiment.

We recently finished a 14 day cruise on P&O’s Iona and it has loads of restaurants. In this video we look at those restaurants that have an additional cost.
There are five restaurants on Iona that have additional costs. In this video we describe our experience in 4 of them: Sindu, Keel & Cow, The Beach House and Olive Grove. We couldn’t get into the Epicurean.

Meat curry powder 2 tbsp
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Chili powder 1 tbsp

Persian Roast Beef - Cooking with Yousef
Hi friends, today we are making a highly popular food in Iran that is used in sandwiches and pizza and has been adapted to local tastes. It is Roast Beef, but it's not precisely the Roast Beef you are familiar with.
It is easy to prepare & tasty, but it does take some patience to cook properly.
So, please join me in making an Iranian Roast Beef sandwich on today's episode!
Ingredients List:
• 3 Pounds of Beef (round or top roast or bottom roast & sirloin)
• 1 Onion
• 3 or 4 Cloves of Garlic
• 1/2 Bell Pepper
• 1 Medium Carrot
• Small bunch of Parsley & Cilantro
• Persian Pickled Cucumber (Khiar Shoor) - optional topping
• Choice of Bread
Sauce
• 6 ounces or 170 grams of mushroom
• 30 grams of butter
• 1 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese or Cheddar
• 1 Cup Half and Half or heavy cream (optional)
• 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
• Couple of tablespoons of cooking oil
