Toffee popcorn !!!
So easy to make and such a sweet snack for any occasion mmm….
You can either make your popcorn in popcorn maker like I did or in a deep fry pan with some oil and pop the corn that way.
Ingredients-
Any amount of popped popcorn you would like
1 cup of sugar
½ a cup of water
Method
Pre cook pop corn and set aside.
In a sauce pan add water then sugar do not stir
, let it boil then turn down temperature and let simmer till tick and starts to turn a light golden brown colour or reaches 121 degrees hard ball stage ,if you have a candy thermometer you can check the temperature.
Be careful its hot business!
Once you have reached that stage pour toffee over popcorn and give it a stir
Let stand for 5 minutes till cool and crunchy,
Enjoy
Here's an idea if you like market popcorn you could add salt for a sweet and salty taste to your popcorn.

(Side note, I haven’t tried this out myself, but if you want to experiment, apparently if you add ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder and a pinch of saffron strands when making your clarified butter, that’ll dye the butter a more neon-orange cover, making popcorn super grammable. You could probably do the same thing with a pinch of beta carotene as well, if you’re really crazy for that super yellow color)
