How To make Quick Sukiyaki
Ingredients

steak, round, 3/4 inch thick
1 1/2
cup
mushrooms, fresh, sliced
1
cup
carrots, diagonally sliced
1
cup
celery, diagonally sliced
1/2
cup
onions, green, cut in 2 inch pieces
2
tablespoon
salad oil
1
each
beef gravy, 10 1/4 oz can
1/2
pound
spinach, fresh, torn in bite size pieces
2
tablespoon
soy sauce
1/2
cup
radishes, sliced
1
rice, cooked, hot
Directions:
Freeze meat 1 hour to firm (makes slicing easier); slice into very thin strips. In skillet, brown mushrooms and cook carrots, celery and onions in oil until just tender; push to one side. Add meat; cook until color changes. Add gravy, spinach and soy. Heat; stir occasionally. Stir in radishes. Serve with rice.
Makes about 6 cups, 6 servings.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mirin
- 1/2 cup sake
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 large green onions(white portion sliced)
- 1 bunch enoki mushrooms
- 5 shiitake mushrooms
- 1 bunch shimeji mushrooms
- 1 bunch shungiku(tong ho or chrysanthemum)
- 1 pack firm tofu
- 1 pack shirataki noodles(konjac noodles)
- 1 piece beef fat
- 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye
- 1 beaten egg for dipping sauce
Instructions
1. Rinse and cut all of the ingredients that will be used in the sukiyaki.
2. In a pot, heat mirin, sake, and sugar on medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the alcohol is evaporated(3-5 minutes). Once dissolved, add soy sauce.
3. In a hot pot or cast iron pan, heat beef fat on medium high heat and char the white portion of green onion.
4. Once charred, add the rest of the ingredients.
5. Pour the sauce over and simmer until all of the ingredients are cooked through.
6. Enjoy with beaten egg as a the dipping sauce.
