You can make these fajitas with the meat of your choice. You can also make it with shrimp or just veggies. Quick and easy takes less than 5 mins prep time.
Ingredients:
-Meat of your choice, Veggies or Shrimp
-1 bell pepper any color you like sliced
-1 red onion sliced
Optional: 1 jalapeño
Use spices according to your taste.
I used about a teaspoon of each except salt only use 1/2 tsp Salt because fajita seasonings tend to have a lot of salt
1 Tsp garlic powder
1 Tsp red chili flakes
1 Tsp onion powder
1 tablespoon Mexican fajita seasoning
3 tablespoons olive oil
Marinate Shrimp, Chicken, Beef, or Veggies
with all the spices and about 3 tablespoons of olive oil. If you have time let it marinate for a hour or so if not you can make it right away.
Fresh Pico De Gallo:
1 tomato diced
1 red onion diced
1 jalapeño diced (take out the seeds and membranes if you don’t want it too spicy)
Handful of cilantro Chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 small garlic clove diced
Squeeze some lime juice on top
Mix everything and it’s done!!
To cook the fajitas:
I’ll be making them in a grill pan but you can cook them in a frying pan as well. Cook on high heat. Add the marinated meat and cook till color changes. Add veggies and mix. Toss around till veggies brown up a little and it’s done.
Serve with fresh pico de gallo, Spanish rice and tortillas
Enjoy

This bowl of Pico de Gallo is so dang good it’ll have you crowing like a rooster ????????️
Back in the day I used to make the pico for our family barbecues. My grandma used to tell me it was the best recipe she ever had. So good in fact, that there would have to be TWO whole bowls because I would eat an entire on myself ????
In this video I’m gonna share the authentic, restaurants style and homemade recipe we use for our favorite snack and condiment – PICO DE GALLO!
My personal pro tip here is to use SERRANOS instead of jalapeños to take the heat up a few notches. And the best part of this recipe is you can adjust all the ingredients to you personal preferences.
You can add more tomato, less onion, double the chile or omit the cilantro – whatever you and your friends and family like, it can be done easily in this delicious recipe.
Ingredients
9 Roma Tomatos
1/2 White Onion
3 Whole Serranos (or Jalapeños for less heat)
1 Head of Cilantro (chopped)
1 Large Lime
2 tsp Sea Salt
And your favorite bag of chips
Take the heat up even more using my SALSA VERDE recipe:

Very few plates at a Mexican restaurant grab your attention like a plate of sizzling fajitas. First you hear it, then you smell it…then you wish you ordered that platón instead of the chicken enchiladas.
In this video we’re cooking up Restaurant Style Fajitas. I decided to grab some outside skirts for maximum tenderness, but beware when shopping for them. This particular cut goes fast in stores as restaurants demand such large quantities of it. Either side of skirt will have you eating good either way.
And here is the weekly Pro Tip: Don’t over cook them! Common sense, I know, but you would be surprised how easy these can get away from you. Both the scorching plancha and the sizzling platter can keep the fajitas cooking even more and dry out what would otherwise be delicious and tender meat. Shoot for a medium or even medium-rare before you plate it on skillet to serve.
I always say that BBQ is simple, and although we aren’t on a live fire today the principles still apply. A scorching hot heat source, a great cut of beef and a little technique is all it takes for a dinner that will blow away any one who is lucky enough to chow down.
