Easy Chicken Alfredo Penne
Servings: 6
INGREDIENTS
1½ pounds (700 grams) chicken breast, cubed
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
16 ounces (450 grams) penne pasta, cooked
¼ cup parsley
¼ cup parmesan, shredded
Sauce
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon basil
1/2 cup parmesan, shredded
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
PREPARATION
1. In a pan over medium-high heat, melt butter, then add the chicken breast.
2. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook 8-10 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove from heat and set chicken aside.
3. In the same pan over medium heat, melt butter and add the garlic. Cook until the garlic begins to soften.
4. Add half of the flour to the garlic and butter, stirring until incorporated. Then add the rest of the flour and stir.
5. Pour in the milk a little bit at a time, stirring well in between, until fully incorporated and sauce begins to thicken.
6. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil, and stir well to incorporate.
7. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
8. Pour the sauce over cooked penne pasta, add the chicken and mix well.
9. Add parsley and extra parmesan, and mix again.
10. Enjoy!

12 cups of water
2 pcs med size white onion hopped
6 cloves garlic chopped
1/4 cup of shrimp
4 pcs thin sliced chicken ham chopped
4 pcs thin sliced mortadella chicken chopped
1/3 cup of mushroom sliced
2 can evaporated milk
1 all purpose cream
1/3 cup grated cheese
oil
ground black pepper and salt to taste
(for more creamy or sticky you can add 3tbsp flour) optional

INGREDIENTS:
500 grams penne pasta1 can evaporated milk (370ml)
1 pack all purpose cream (250ml)
200 grams sweet ham (or bacon)
1 small can mushroom (198g)
100 grams shrimp
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium white onion, minced
salt
1 stick butter
ground white pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil
150 grams parmesan or cheddar cheese
2 eggs
How to cook?
Penne Pasta
To boil the pasta, just follow the instruction of the package, but it is usually between 5 to 10 minutes.
1. Boil water in a large pot. To make sure pasta doesn't stick together, use at least 4 quarts of water for every pound of penne.
2. Add 1 tbsp oil and salt to give flavor and prevent the stickiness of the penne.
3. Add the pasta.
4. Stir the pasta and test by tasting it.
5. Drain the pasta. You have to make sure it remains moist, and it does not stick together after you drained the pasta. Set it aside.
Carbonara Sauce
1. Fry ham (or bacon) using a pan and set aside.
2. Heat a large saute pan, add butter and 1 tbsp oil. Sauté garlic and onion until soft and fragrant. Then, add mushrooms.
3. Add the fried ham and shrimps. Then, season with salt and pepper. Sauté until shrimp is slightly cooked.
4. Pour in the all purpose cream and evaporated milk. Add some salt and pepper to taste.
5. Let it simmer in low fire until thickened.
6. Add grated cheese then add the penne pasta. Mix well until sauce combined.
7. Add 2 eggs and mix. Remove from heat and serve hot with garlic bread.
