It's so worth it to watch this segment! The end result is delicious. We have a personal story of our fabulous times dining at Buca di Beppo (you're so fortunate if you still have one in your town). We'll tell it at the end. (wink) But, more importantly, we NEVER went to a Buca without ordering the Lemon Chicken. We felt that no one did it better. On a mission to find out how to make it, we think we've succeeded. Bon Appetit, friends. We'd love an invitation if you're making it! ????
▶︎Recipe INGREDIENTS:
1 egg
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/3 cup all-purpose (or GF) flour
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon paprika
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup melted butter
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
1/2 cup hot water
1 tablespoon capers
▶︎Recipe DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine egg and 1 tbsp lemon juice in a small bowl; beat well with a whisk. Combine flour, garlic powder and paprika in a small bowl; stir well. Put chicken breasts between two sheets of waxed paper. Pound until the chicken is flattened and even in thickness.
2. Dry the chicken off by patting it with paper towels. The dryer your chicken, the more the batter will adhere to the chicken.
3. Dip chicken in egg mixture; dredge in flour mixture. Brown chicken in melted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 - 3 minutes on each side.
4. Dissolve bouillon in hot water. Add bouillon mixture and 2 tablespoons lemon juice to chicken.
5. Bring to a boil; cover; reduce heat; and, simmer 10-15 minutes or until chicken is done. Plate. Garnish with capers and lemon slices.

What is the number of Calories in chicken breast?
As per the United States Department of Agriculture data 1 large baked chicken breast without skin weighing 135 grams contains about 217 Calories or 908 kilojoules of energy.
Grilling is also one of the popular ways of consuming chicken breast. 1 large grilled chicken breast without skin provides us about 238 Calories (996 kilojoules) per 135 grams.
The major source of calories in chicken breast is protein. About 40 grams of excellent quality protein is present in chicken breast.
One more interesting fact is that the chicken breast does not contain any amount of carbohydrate at all. Both the baked and the grilled chicken breast varieties are diabetes friendly dishes.

Cheesy Chicken Quesadillas | Easy Recipe
Are you looking for a good recipe with a chicken and cheese combo? Look no more! This is the perfect dish where you get the crispiness of a tortilla with our all time favorite cheese, throw in some chicken and spices with about 20 mins preparation and cooking; you get a nice meal you can cook for your loved ones. The fajita seasoning is really what gives this dish an exotic taste, if it's your first time trying it, I'm sure you would love this new taste!
Quesadillas originated in Mexico and it took the world by storm along with its cousins in tortilla wraps. We chose this dish because its easy to do, fast to make and is extremely addictive! We are sure you would love it as well, make sure you serve it immediately for best results.
CHICKEN QUESADILLAS
Makes 3
IINGREDIENTS
- ½ lb (225g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
- 1 ½ Tbsp pre-made fajita seasoning or make your own (see below)
- 1/2 medium white onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1/2 cup (75 g) chopped bell pepper, any color (i used greed and red)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 (10 inch) flour tortillas
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded monterey jack cheese
Fajita seasoning:
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
Toppings
- sliced avocado
- sour cream
- tomato salsa
