How To make Pate Diana
1 c Butter
1/2 c Onions; chopped
2 tb Shallots; chopped
1/4 c Apples; chopped, peeled
1 lb Chicken livers; halved
1/4 c Apple wine or brandy
3 tb Whipping cream
1 ts Lemon juice
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Black pepper
1/2 c Butter; clarified
Apple slices (optional) Soften 10 tablespoons butter and set aside. Melt 3 of remaining tablespoons butter in skillet. Add onions and shallots. Cook until tender, stirring, about 5 minutes. Add chopped apples and cook until tender, about 3 minutes. Place apple mixture in blender. Melt remaining 3 tablespoons butter in skillet. Add chicken livers and stir 3 to 4 minutes until livers are browned outside and pink inside. Add wine and cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Transfer liver mixture to blender with apple mixture. Add 2 tablespoons cream and blend at high speed until smooth. Add more cream, if necessary, to make mixture smooth. Press through medium-fine strainer into mixing bowl. Cool thoroughly, stirring once or twice. (Pate will become oily if not completely cooled.) In another bowl, cream 10 tablespoons softened butter with electric mixer and add liver mixture, a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pour pate into crock or ramekins, smoothing top with spatula. Pour enough clarified butter over top to form seal. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week or freeze, in appropriate containers, if desired. Serve chilled and garnished with apple slices, if desired.

Paper Mache Clay Recipe - The Easy Original Recipe
You can find the written instructions for the paper mache clay recipe here:
Note: We've recently discovered that both DAP and Wurth joint compounds can be used to make paper mache clay, as long as you use Gorilla Wood Glue instead of Elmer's. All other parts of the recipe should stay the same. See these two videos for more info:

Make paper mache clay smooth without sanding:
Ten years ago I became frustrated with traditional paper strips and paste. It took too much time to add all those layers of paper mache, and it was messy.
But I wanted to sculpt, and paper mache was the only affordable option.
That’s why I created this original (and still my favorite) recipe for paper mache clay.
It’s affordable.
It uses common ingredients that you can find at your local DIY store or Walmart.
And anyone can use it to create beautiful sculptures that we can be proud of. This is not the kind of paper mache you made back in grade school!
I put this recipe for paper mache clay on this blog and on YouTube about ten years ago. It has now been used by millions of people around the world.
You use a knife to apply paper mache clay in a really thin layer over your armature, almost like frosting a cake. It dries hard and strong, so sculptures made with it can be treasured for years.
This is the recipe I used for all the projects in my book Make Animal Sculptures with Paper Mache Clay.
And this recipe is included in my FREE downloadable guide, The 5 Best Recipes for Paper Mache. You can get your copy here:

Britain's Giant Pet Food Factory - HOW TO MAKE PET FOOD

It’s time to find out the Truth about Pet Food…
It’s a little-known fact that Mars makes more pet products than chocolate. This documentary offers unprecedented access to their giant factory in Melton Mowbray which runs 24/7 to keep to their target of 1 million pet food pouches a day. Joe is the perfectionist Quality Manager in charge, desperate to get right the launch of a new cat food targeted at older cats. Meanwhile, just outside Melton, Mars’ 14-acre science research centre employs over 1000 animals and 250 humans… like animal trainer Debbie, who seems to spend most of her time collecting urine and poo samples for scientific trials. If you’re animal-mad, this is the place to work. Staff are encouraged to bring in their pets for the happiness of the work environment. But they do have to abide by the ‘petiquette’ rules and one rebellious Chow-Chow is in danger of being handed his notice.
