How To make Oven Pot Roast with Beer
4 pounds chuck roast
* see note
yellow onion :
sliced 2 celery stalks chopped
1/4 cup green peppers :
chopped
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 ounces beer
* Use a chuck roast or similar cut.
Place roast in large oven-proof pan with lid. Mix the remaining ingredients except beer and pour evenly over roast. Roast uncovered in 350-degree oven for 1 hour. Pour room temperature beer over, COVER, and cook for 2-3 hours longer depending on the thickness of the roast. Thicken liquid with flour if you wish.

Cooking with Beer: Braised Beef Roast
In this video, I make my famous Beer Braised Beef roast. This is NOT a difficult recipe. Its basically a throw it all into a pot and cook meal. Big enough for a big family and not expensive.
Recipe:
2 lb ish Boneless Beef Chuck Roast (you can use a Brisket too)
Salt/ pepper
3-4 Carrots
3-4 Stalks of Celery
4 cloves of garlic
1 Bay Leaf
1 large onion
Thyme
Rosemary
3 Cups Chicken Stock
3 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste (I use half a can)
24 oz of your favorite brown beer. I usually use Sam Adams Octoberfest but Yuengling works great as well
Start by searing the meat 1-2 mins per side
Remove meat
Add all the other ingredients
Braise in the oven for 3 to 3 and a half hours at 325 degrees F
Viola, Enjoy
This meal does not cost much at all
Its a great way to feed your entire family or a small family with leftovers

Yes! We can do that; let's cook a fascinating, flavorful, and comforting dish. Beer Braised Pot Roast.
Beer Braised Pot Roast is a tasty meal with carrots and potatoes seasoned with onions, garlic, bay leaves, and a bottle of dark beer. Negra Modelo Beer.
Beer Braised Pot Roast is one of my favorite dishes; the beer adds a rich flavor and can be cooked in an oven, slow cooker, or instant pot.
It is soo good that even before tasting it, you ask for a second serving.
Let's make it. Sear the beef and place in the oven in or cooking pot; add one onion, two bay leaves, four garlic cloves, a teaspoon of salt, and a large dark beer. Slow cook on Medium heat for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, check the meat temperature at 140 degrees, and cook longer if necessary. Add the carrots and potatoes and cook for 30 minutes. The Beer Braised Pot Roast should be ready to taste.
Let's cut a piece and taste it. Wow, tender and tasty, and I want more.

Roux Recipe:
6 tbsp unsalted butter
10 tbsp ap flour
Rosemary salt recipe full batch
1 cup kosher salt
14 sprigs of rosemary stripped
8 sprigs sage stripped
3-5 cloves of garlic (3 if they are big and 5 if small)
1 lemon zested

250 grams of kosher salt
8 grams of fresh sage leaves
16 grams fresh rosemary leaves
20 grams of fresh garlic
3 grams of fresh lemon zest
