How To make Oriental Bar B Q Pork Tenderloin
8 lb Pork Tenderloin (boneless)
1 1/3 c Soy Sauce
2/3 c Oriental Toasted Sesame Oil
4 ea Minced garlic cloves (large)
1 T Ground Ginger (fresh)
1 T MSG (if desired)
19 oz Bottled Bar-B-Q Sauce
Trim pork tenderloin of all fat (the sesame oil will prevent burning on the grill. Combine 1/3 c soy sauce, 1/3 c sesame oil, 3 minced garlic cloves, ginger, and MSG (if used) in a deep bowl and mix well (make sure the ginger is not not clumping. Place pork into marinade and place in refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours (over- night if you prefer). Remove pork from marinade and place on covered grill. Add wet wood to grill firepan to insure adequate supply of smoke. Prepare sauce: Combine bar-b-q sauce, 1/3 c sesame oil, 1/3 c soy sauce and 1 minced garlic clove in a bowl and mix well. Serve over sliced pork tenderloins.

INGREDIENTS
For the Char Siu Sauce:
4 tbsp of honey
2 tbsp of light soy sauce [Kimlan light Soy Sauce:
1 tbsp of Chinese cooking wine [Shaohsing Rice Cooking Wine:
1 tbsp garlic chili sauce
1 tbsp of oyster sauce [Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand oyster sauce:
1 tbsp of hoisin sauce [Lee Kum Kee hoisin sauce:
1/2 tsp of five spices [Amazon link:
2 tsp of dark soy sauce (color option)
1 piece of Chinese soy bean curd (color option) [Amazon Link:
1 tsp of red yeast rice powder (color option) [Amazon Link:
Simply mix them. There are many variations to this famous Chinese barbecue sauce, so if it's not perfect for you, adjust!
Meat:
3 pounds skinless pork belly or pork shoulder
Tips:
1. Cutting your pork in to 2 cm thick, it is easy to marinate and bake;
2. Marinate the pork overnight or at least 10 hours;
3. Adding some corn flour after marinating, is a traditional way to make char siu, which will lock the juice inside the meat and create a shining flavorful glaze

Chinese Barbecue Pork (Char Siu) Recipe!
Ingredients:
Pork - fillet- tenderloin, you can use any pork
Soft brown sugar - 2 tablespoon
Dark soy - 1 tablespoon
Light soy - 1 tablespoon
Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
Honey - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 3 cloves (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1 inch piece (finely chopped)
Chinese five spice - 1 teaspoon
Shaoxing wine - 1 teaspoon
White pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Red food colouring 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Oven temperature - 400f - 200c (gas mark 6)
Cook on the middle shelf (pre heated oven) 35-45 minutes
(cooking times may vary so check that the internal temperature at the thickest part of the pork has fully cooked and juices run clear with no blood)
