How To make Nuts and Bolts
1/2 c Margarine
1/4 c Salad oil
1/4 c Bacon fat
1/2 c Worcestershire sauce
2 ts Garlic salt
4 ts Celery salt
4 c Unblanched almonds (or mixed
-nuts) 4 c Wheat chex or other small
-shredded wheat squares 4 c Rice chex
2 c Cheerios
2 c Thin pretzels
1 8-10 oz package cheese
-flings or similar cracker -snack Melt the margarine, oil, and bacon fat. Stir in worcestershire sauce. Add salts. Remove from heat and let stand a few minutes. In large roasting pan combine nuts, cereals, pretzels, and cheese snack crackers. Pour sauce over this and toss to blend. Bake uncovered in slow oven (200F) for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Bake at 300F for 1 to 1.5 hours, stirring every 1/2 hour

Chex Mix Nuts & Bolts
Do you need another treat/snack for your holiday get togethers? This one is so easy. You may have made it before but I wanted to show you how we make ours. It is so easy and delicious. Stir everything together, set a timer, and all you have to do is stir every 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container and they will last all season. Fill up a pretty container and gift to a neighbor, someone at church or your workplace. I hope you will make these and if you do, let me know. Recipe below.

Ingredients:
3 cups cheerios
3 cups mini pretzels
3 cups rice chex
3 cups corn chex
1 8 oz container of mixed nuts
1 tsp celery salt
1 Tbsp garlic salt
1 Tbsp seasoned salt
4 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 cups oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a large deep sided baking pan, add cheerios and pretzels. Toss together. In a separate bowl, combine celery salt, garlic salt, seasoned salt, worcestershire sauce, and oil. Pour over cereal and pretzels. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Add remaining cereals and bake another 15-30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes. Let cool completely. Store in airtight container.

One of our favorite family recipes, especially around Christmas, is thi Nuts and Bolts snack mix. This is a simple recipe, using basic ingredients but it does take a bit of time to cook in the oven.
Friends, I encourage you to give this recipe a try. It's very delicious and doesn't last long around our house.
Ingredients:
Shreddies
Crispix
Honey nut Cheerios
Honey nut corn Chex
Pretzel sticks and twists
Peanuts
Honey roasted peanuts
Sauce Mix:
2 cups oil (I use canola)
2 Tbsp Worcestershire
sauce
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp seasoned salt
Heat Oven to 200F
Stir every 15 min for 2 hours
Cool and put in containers and freeze
