TOP 3 FRENCH ONION SOUP recipes I have ever had! DELICIOUS!!!
Today we are teaching you how to make a very classic, impressive and DELICIOUS French Onion Soup. It's is out of this world!!!

Ingredients:
5 to 6 cups yellow onions, thinly sliced (about 1 1/2 to 2 lbs)
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons flour
6 cups beef stock (preferably homemade)
1/2 cup wine (dry white wine or dry white vermouth)
salt and pepper
12 ounces gruyere cheese, grated
4 ounces parmesan cheese, grated
one half raw yellow onion
2 to 3 tablespoons cognac
8 slices French bread (about 1 inch thick)
4 tablespoons olive oil, for drizzling
Directions:
Place heavy bottom stock pot or dutch over over medium-low heat.
Add 1 Tbs cooking oil, 2Tbs butter to pot.
Add sliced onions and stir until they are evenly coated with the oil.
Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until they are very tender and translucent.
To brown or caramelize the onions turn heat under pot to medium or medium high heat.
Add 1/2 tsp sugar and 1 tsp salt and continue to cook uncovered, stirring frequently until the onions have browned and reduced significantly.
Once caramelized, reduce heat to medium-low and add 3 Tbs flour to the onions.
Brown the flour for about 2-3 minutes trying not to scorch it. (If the flour does not form a thick paste, you can add a bit more butter here).
Stir in about 1 cup of warm stock, scraping the bottom of the pan to get up all of the cooked-on bits.
Add the rest of the stock, wine to the soup.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
To make the croutes (toasted bread), heat oven to 325 degrees F.
Drizzle each side of the bread slices with a bit of olive oil and place on baking sheet.
Cook the croutes for 15 minutes in oven on each side (30 minutes total).
Check the soup for seasoning and add salt and pepper if needed.
Transfer to a casserole dish.
At this point you can add the 2-3 Tbs cognac and grate the 1/2 raw onion into the soup.
Add a few ounces of the cheese directly into the soup and stir.
Place the toasted bread in a single layer on top of the soup.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese in a thick layer on top of the bread making sure to cover the edges of the toast to prevent burning.
Drizzle with a little oil or melted butter.
Place in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
Turn on broiler and brown cheese well.
Let cool for a few minutes.

Ingredients for Grilled Chicken:
Chicken boneless - 350 gms.
Marinade:
- Curd/yoghurt- 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
- Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Cumin powder- 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 3/4 tsp
- Salt- 1/2 tsp or to taste
- Ginger chopped- 1/2 inch piece
- Garlic cloves- 2
- Tomato purée- 2 tsp
- Olive oil- 2 tbsp
Preparation:
Blend the items for the marinade in a blender and pour it on the chicken. Rub to coat the both sides of the chicken with the marinade. Set aside for an hour to marinate.
Process.
- Take a grill pan and pre-heat it.
- Brush the pan with some olive oil.
- Once hot, place the marinated chicken one beside the other. Keep on high for around 3 mins to develop grill marks.
- Turn them on the other side & continue the same on the other side.
- Keep basting it with the oil left on the sides of the grill pan.
- Lower heat to medium & turn the pieces again to cook for another 4-5 mins on each side.
- Check with a fork if the chicken is cooked. Remove onto a plate.

KETO/LOW CARB Pulled Pork Tacos with Coleslaw. So yummy and easy!
I can't tell you all how good this pulled pork is, especially in a low carb/keto wrap with a little crunchy delicious coleslaw on it. So easy too! If you guys try these, let me know how they turned out!!

RECIPE
For pulled pork, we bought an adaptable meals slow cooker pork roast for carnitas. These are really good and quite cost effective. You just slow cook it on normal for 4+ hours and then shred it!!
Ingredients for wraps (4 servings):
12 oz (340g) Pulled/Shredded Pork
4 low carb tortilla wraps
1 cup shredded cabbage
2 tablespoons coleslaw dressing/mix
1 teaspoon tapatio hot sauce
4 diced cherry tomatoes
Directions:
1. Mix 1 cup shredded cabbage and 2 tablespoons of coleslaw mix together, stir well and let sit
2. Place wrap on plate or in taco tray
3. Place 3 oz (84g) of pork in a layer in the center of the wrap
4. Place cabbage/coleslaw mix on top of pork
5. Place additional desired ingredients such as tomatoes, hot sauce, etc on top of coleslaw
6. Wrap and enjoy!

Per serving (this is a total of all of the aforementioned ingredients divided by 4. I am not a nutrition expert, this information was gathered by adding the ingredients to an app and letting it determine the total. Changing toppings/ingredients will change these numbers)
