Munchies: Brandon Jew and Brett Cooper
Before we flew out to San Francisco to film, Brandon Jew of Bar Agricole fried his hand on the job, causing a gnarly skin bubble (it's more than just a blister) to swell on his palm. It's the grossest/funniest cooking injury we've ever seen. But he's a trooper, and cooks well enough left-handed.
In this episode, Brandon and his buddy Brett Cooper of Outerlands show us two of their favorite spots in the Bay Area and then whip up some delicious prawns with fermented mustard greens.

These healthy hash brown tacos are one of our favorite go-to weeknight dinners. I like to keep hash browns in our freezer, and a can of refried beans in the pantry for those nights where I can't think of anything to make, don't want to put in much effort, but still want something I can feel good about eating!

Cheeseburger Fried Rice Is The Ultimate Hangover Cure

1. BAN TA VILLAGE
INTERVIEWEE: Mr. Nengyongsong Jongja, Mis. Yau Ya, Lue Song, Mr. Kamar Song, Mr. Nouyang + Mrs. Phaua
????????STICKY RICE PATTIES: Soak sticky rice for 1 hour. Steam 3kg for 1 hour, 10 mins. Pound steamed rice till sticky. Mix egg yolks. Wrap in leaf, grill till non-sticky.
????????RAW BUFFALO & BILE LAAP: Dice buffalo meat & liver. Extract bile from sack. Mix with rice powder, coriander, mint, pepper, onion, galanga, lemongrass, chili, bile, salt, MSG.
????????BUFFALO HEART: Slice the Buffalo heart, season with garlic, lemongrass, salt, MSG, chilli and fish sauce, place on bamboo skewers. Grill over fire.
????????STIR-FRIED BUFFALO: Slice the Buffalo heart, season with garlic, lemongrass, salt, MSG, chilli and fish sauce, place on bamboo skewers. Grill over fire.
