2 pounds Italian sausage
sweet, mild, or hot
48 ounces spaghetti sauce
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 large green pepper :
sliced thin
1 large onion -- sliced thin
1 Tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 cup water
Place sausage in skillet; cover with water. Simmer 10 minutes; drain. Meanwhile, place remaining ingredients in slow cooker; add sausage (cut in hot dog lengths if using sweet sausage). Cover; cook on low 4 hours. Increase temperature to HIGH; cook 1 hour more. Serve on buns or slice and serve over spaghetti. Yield 8 servings.

IN THE OVEN 180 °C (356 °F) /20 minutes
for the salsa sauce:
sun-dried tomatoes - 150 g (5.3 oz)
red onion - 1 piece
coriander - 20 g (0.7 oz)
green chilies - 10 g (0.35 oz)
garlic - 4 cloves
lime juice - 60 ml (¼ cup)
caraway - 3 g (0.11 oz)
paprika - 2 g (0.07 oz)
salt - 3 g (0.11 oz)
black pepper - 2 g (0.07 oz)
