sub rolls, toasted or plain
Directions:
Place meatballs in slow cooker and set on high. As they begin to heat and grease forms, wipe with paper towels. After grease has been absorbed, add sauce and cook for approximately 3 hours.
Dip meatballs and sauce out of cooker and place on rolls. Sprinkle on cheese as desired for topping.

Ingredients you'll need:
Bread:
1.25 cups (295ml water
1 tablespoon instant yeast (10g)
3 1/2 (500g) cups ap flour
1 tablespoon sugar (13g)
2 teaspoons salt (5g)
2 tbsp lard or shortening (30g)
Parmegiano reggiano for topping
Sauce:
1 can (how many oz?) crushed tomatoes
5 cloves garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
4 oz 120g pancetta or bacon
Handful of basil
Plus extra fresh basil to finish
Meatballs:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
2 eggs
1/3 cup 12g grated parmigiano reggiano
1 teaspoon 2g fennel seeds, toasted
1 tablespoon fresh oregano, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
4 slices finely chopped prosciutto
3/4 cup 42g panko bread crumbs

The Best Cheesy Meatball Sub EVER!!!
Ingredients:
1 pack Carano Spicy Sicilian Meatballs
1 pack Carando Abruzzese Meatballs
Olive oil
1 whole or 1/2 onion
1/2 jar Bertolli Five Cheese Pasta Sauce
1/2 jar Bertolli Italian Sausage Pasta Sauce
Garlic Powder
Garlic Pepper Seasoning
Red Onion Powder (spainsspices.com)
Weber Garlic Jalapeno Seasoning
Parsley
Kosher salt
Cheeses:
Colby & Monterey Jack Cheese
Pepperjack Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan cheese
Garlic Buttery Sub Rolls:
2 large French Sub Rolls
Melted butter
Garlic Salt Parsley Seasoning
Directions:
1.Heat a cast iron skillet on top of the stove, add olive oil and brown the meatballs, add onions and brown.
2. Add your pasta sauce to the skillet and mix. Add all of the seasoning ingredients listed above, taste the sauce and adjust seasoning to your liking.
3. Slice your sub rolls, but don't go to deep. You can cut your sub rolls in half as well. Coat the Sub roll with melted butter, add seasoning.
4. Mix your 3 cheeses together in a bowl, add a small amount of meatball sauce to the bottom of the sub roll, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Add your Meatballs to the sub roll, sprinkle more parmesan cheese.
5. Add meatball sauce on top of the meatball sub, put lots of cheese on top, sprinkle Garlic Pepper seasoning and Parsley on top of the cheese.
6. Place in the oven @ 350° degrees, cook for 12-15 minutes.
