How To make Maple Syrup Nut Cake
2 1/4 c Flour
3 t Baking powder
1 c Maple syrup
1/2 c Milk
1 c Chopped nuts
1/2 c White sugar
1 t Salt
1/2 c Soft shortening
2 ea Eggs
Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Add syrup, shortening and milk; beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes. Add choppeed nuts and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9" pans. Bake in 350? oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Frost. By Pamela Graves - Serves 18

In today's video I am sharing an amazing fall recipe. Maple Walnut Cake. Wow it is so good. Its a little drier of a cake than i am used to but i may have over baked it a tad. But it will definitely become a regular here in our home!

Easy Thanksgiving Apple Pecan and Maple Syrup Cake Recipe

Thanksgiving is not celebrated here in the UK so I struggled to find what to contribute but found this Apple with Maple Syrup and Pecan cake recipe, this cake was so very light in fact so light when I was cutting into it it was breaking into pieces lol hope you enjoy watching please don’t forget to like share and subscribe.

Ingredients
3 Cups of Apples
250 grams of Self Raising Flour or (250 grams of All purpose flour )
If using All purpose flour add 1 Teaspoon of Baking powder
140 mls of Vegetable Oil ( you could use 175 grams of butter if you prefer )
100 grams of Soft light brown sugar
100 mls of Maple Syrup
2 Eggs
1 to 2 Teaspoon of Vanilla paste
50 grams of Chopped Pecans
Icing sugar for icing the cake (optional)
Method
In a Bowl Sieve 250 grams of Self raising flour
Add The Light brown sugar into a separate mixing bowl
Add the Chopped Pecan Nuts
Add The Maple Syrup
Add the Vegetable Oil
Add The Vanilla Paste or essence
Whisk to combine
Add the Eggs 1 at a Time
Add the Chopped Apples into the flour and mix to coat the Apples with the flour
Now add the wet mixture into the flour and fold in using a spatula
Pour the Mixture into a lined 8 inch baking tin
Place in a preheated oven 175 c for 40 to 50 minutes
Test the cake with a toothpick to ensure the cake is cooked
Leave to cool completely
You can Ice the cake with any flavour icing or leave the cake un iced
I used 2 tablespoons of Amarula and 50 grams of icing sugar but the icing is optional
Serve and Enjoy with a Cup of Tea or Coffee

one and one sticks unsalted. butter soften one and. one half cups brown sugar. three eggs mix together. one table spoon. pure maple. syrup. dash maple extract. mix together add in one cup whole. milk mix together 2 cups flour onevteaspoon baking powder. one teaspoon. baking soda mix then add to wet mix together. fold in crushed walnuts pournonto Grease cake. pans. bake 30 minutes. frostin one table spoon soften butter. one cup of powered. sugar. one half cup of milk. one table spoon maple syrup. spread. on lower. half then spread on top add nuts. for garnish. chill several hours
