How To make Maple Macadamia Bread
1 1/4 c All purpose flour
1 c Whole wheat flour
1 t Baking powder
1 t Baking soda
1/8 ts Salt
1 lg Egg, lightly beaten
1/2 c (1 stick) unsalted butter,
-melted, cooled 3/4 c Maple syrup
3/4 c Buttermilk
1 c (5 oz) macadamia nuts,
-coarsely chopped Maple Cinnamon Glaze
Heat oven to 350. Butter and flour a 9 x 5 in. loaf pan. Mix both flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in mixing bowl. Whisk egg, butter, syrup and buttermilk in separate large mixing bowl until blended. Add flour mixture and stir just until smooth. Fold in nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 40-45 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack 5 minutes. While bread is cooling, make Maple Cinnamon Glaze. Turn bread out of pan onto rack. Brush top and sides with syrup glaze, using pastry brush. Let stand 5 minutes, then sprinkle top evenly with cinnamon sugar. Let cool completely before serving. Cut bread into 1/2 inch thick slices. Macadamia Nut Milk Recipe:
1) Add 1 cup of macadamia nuts to a bowl
2) Pour 1 cup of filtered water into the same bowl
3) Add a pinch of sea salt
4) Soak for at least 2 hours
5) Take your soaked nuts and pour them into a blender or food processor
6) Add 3 cups of filtered water
7) Add another pinch of salt
8) Blend it up
9) Enjoy! No straining or peeling required

Macadamia Blondies with Caramel Maple Topping
Kimberly Vela is an alumni and grad student at St. Mary's University. Being a vegetarian for six years, Kim learned how to cook for herself and loves to share her recipes with her friends.
Ingredients
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
6 ounces firm silken tofu
¼ cup rice or soy milk
1/3 cup canola oil
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups raw macadamias, partially chopped and partially ground
Ingredients for the topping:
¼ cup nonhydrogenated margarine
2 tablespoons turbinado or other brown sugar
¼ cup pure maple syrup
1 cup raw macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 9 X 13 inch pan. In blender or food processor, blend tofu and soy milk until smooth. Add oil, sugar and vanilla, blend. Combine the dry ingredients in mixing bowl, mix well. Fold in nuts. Dough will be thick. Spread in baking pan, bake 25 minutes.
Prepare topping: Mix all ingredients except nuts in saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat, bring to boil 1 minute. Stir in nuts, remove from heat. Remove blondies from oven, pour on topping, bake 10 more minutes. Let cool completely before serving.

INGREDIENTS
420g / 14.8 oz Light Tahini
15g / 0.52 Chia Seeds
15ml / 1tbsp Vanilla (Won't make it sweet You need it to counteract the intensity of the sesame )
50g / 1.76oz Sweetener (I used sukrin gold, but if using just an erythritol/stevia blend you'll save 1g carbs overall)
5g / 0.17oz Baking Soda (can replace this AND the lemon juice with 1tbsp of baking powder, but keeping base and acid separate is preferable to get more of a rise here)
45ml / 3tbsp lemon Juice
1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt

(Optional) 30ml / 2tbsp zero maple syrup (or at least 1/4 tsp xanthan gum)

Everytime I receive questions about the Macadamia Bread from the Magic Pill i think I should just make a video out of one of my very old recipes for bread based on Tahini, which is basically sesame butter. Just like the macadamia bread is based on a seed butter rather than a flour, but better than the Macadamia even, it has less carbs, more fat, rises more, it's basically to my taste a better result, but as I made it first back in 2014 it went a bit lost in my archive, so here it is again for you guys
