How To make Mange Tout & Carrots with Soy Sauce.
300 g 10 oz baby carrots
350 g 12 oz mange tout, trimmed.
30 ml 2 tbsp soy sauce.
Half clove garlic, crushed. 1 Cm half inch piece of fresh
Root ginger peeled and Chopped 25 g 1 oz sunflower seeds toasted
Remove the tops from the carrots, then scrub them. Bring a large steamer to the boil and steam the carrots for 5 minutes. Add the mange tout and steam for a further 2 minutes. Place the vegetables, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a large pan and stir for one minute until thoroughly mixed. Put into a large bowl and sprinkle with the sunflower seeds. 97 calories 404 kj 7,3 g protein 10 g carbohydrate of which 4,7 g sugars

King frawn

1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tbsp toyo (soy sauce)
1 tbsp Chicken powder
1/2 tsp salt
Ground pepper

LAY HO MA (how's it going in Cantonese)! Back to the basics today with a classic recipe that's brimming with beautiful colours and textures. Join me in this episode and learn how to cook up a delicious vegetable stir fry recipe to enjoy tonight!
Ingredients:
80g broccolini
40g carrot
80g cremini mushrooms
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 red onion
4 spears baby corn
90g smoked tofu
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tsp cane sugar
splash of toasted sesame oil
1+1 tsp avocado oil
Directions:
1. Chop the broccolini into bite sized pieces and the carrot into matchsticks. Brush the dirt off of the mushrooms with a paper towel. Then, chop them into quarters
2. Slice the red bell pepper and quarter the red onion. Chop in half the baby corn and the smoked tofu into bite sized cubes
3. Make the sauce by combining the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, sugar, and toasted sesame oil
4. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium high heat. Add 1 tsp avocado oil followed by the smoked tofu. Sauté for 3-4min, then set aside
5. Add another tsp of avocado oil to the pan. Add the red onions and broccolini. Sauté for a couple of minutes allowing for the veggies to sear and get some colour
6. Add the cremini mushrooms and carrots. Sauté for a couple of minutes. Add the red bell pepper and baby corn. Sauté for another couple of minutes
7. Add the stir fry sauce and add back in the smoked tofu. Sauté for another minute
8. Plate the veggies and serve with freshly steamed rice

1 lb RAW large or jumbo shrimp, deveined and rinsed with cool water and a little lemon juice
Marinade for shrimp:
2 1/2 tsps Soy sauce
2 tsps Shaoxing Chinese cooking wine (Get from the international aisle or an asian store plz)
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Black pepper to taste

2 tsps finely minced ginger
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cup fresh Snow peas

Sauce Ingredients:
2 tsps soy sauce
2 tbsps Shaoxing wine
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup Chicken broth
1 tsp rice vinegar (get from asian section of supermarket or asian food store)

Suggested Substitutes:
Shaoxing wine - Mirin or Dry Sherry or a little salt
Chicken broth - Shrimp broth or vegetable broth or Mix hot water with a little boullion or a chicken/shrimp seasoning packet from a ramen pack
Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry With Peppers And Onions
This Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry with Peppers & Onions is fresh, fast, healthy and seriously easy to make! Add snow peas if you are a fan of them, but it's delicious without them!
For these pepper shrimp you'll need...
1 lb medium shrimp
3 small bell peppers
1 red or yellow onion
2 tablespoon butter
3 large clove garlic
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
i teaspoon dry parsley (Optional)
Steamed vegetables| recipe
Chopped cabbage
Chopped carrots
broccoli
green beans
Chopped onions
Chopped bell peppers
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/3 cup vegetable stock
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp all purpose seasoning
2 tbsp butter
