optional salt pepper celery salt -- optional * Use 2 unpeeled and scrubbed potatoes, baking size. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise. Slice each half into lengthwise wedges with some peel on each piece. Soak in cold water for 20 minutes. Drain and dry potatoes. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Place potatoes into plastic bag or large plastic bowl with tight fitting lid. Add oil and shake to coat the potatoes. Arrange potatoes in single layer on cooking sheet. Bake in preheated 450-degree oven for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. To season, sprinkle with salt, pepper and your choice of paprika or celery salt. Reduce salt if using celery salt. Also good sprinkled with chili powder just before end of cooking time.
Instructions: Cut potatoes into desired fry shape.
Soak in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes and thoroughly dry afterwards.
Preheat air fryer to 400F and season the fried fries with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and a spritz of olive oil.
Air fry for 6-8 minutes. Toss fries every few minutes to avoid burning/uneven textures. For softer fries, total cook time should be about 12 mins, while crispier fries may take up to 20. Don't forget to subscribe for more recipes!
