How To make London Broil4
1 pound beef flank steak or top round steak
to 1 1/2
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
1 clove garlic :
minced
Prepare and marinate steak by scoring meat and making shallow cuts at 1 inch intervals diagonally across the steak in a diamond pattern. Repeat on second side. Place meat in a plastic bag and set into a shallow dish. For marinade, combine oil, vinegar, garlic, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Pour over meat. Seal bag. Marinate at room temperature up to 1 hour or in refrigerator up to 24 hours; turn bag occasionally. Grill marinated steak on an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 6 minutes. Turn and grill to desired doneness allowing 5 to 6 minutes more for rare or 7 to 8 minutes more for medium rare. Continue as above.

Spicy London Broil
Printable Recipe:
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs. Boneless Beef Top Round (London Broil)
4 cloves Minced Garlic
3 tbsp. Chili Powder
2 tsp. Cumin
2 tsp. Paprika
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
2 tbsp. Dried Parsley Flakes
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup Olive Oil
Instructions:
Preheat oven to Broil.
In a bowl, combine all seasonings and oil.
Rub half of seasoning mixture onto one side of the meat. Place onto a baking sheet lined with foil.
Broil for 7-8 minutes, depending on desired level of doneness.
Flip meat to other side, and brush on the remainder of seasonings.
Broil for an additional 7-8 minutes until the desired level of doneness is reached.
Allow to rest out of the oven for 3 minutes before slicing.
