How To make Lamb with Honey and Almonds
3 lb Boneless shoulder of lamb,
-trimmed of fat and cut -into large chunks 2 lg Onions, chopped fine
3 tb Honey
1 c Raisins
4 Carrots, peeled and cut
-into 1" lengths 3/4 c Whole almonds
1/8 t Saffron
-OR 1/2 t Saffron threads
1 t Cinnamon
1/2 t Ground ginger
3 t Salt
pn Cayenne pepper 1 cn Garbanzo beans (large can)
2 c Water
1 t Arrowroot
It takes only 10 minutes to assemble this one-dish meal. Serve over brown rice or bulgur. Soak top and bottom of pot in water for 15 minutes. Pour all ingredients, except arrowroot, into large round bowl; mix thoroughly with your hands. Place mixture in presoaked pot. Place covered pot in cold oven. Turn temperature to 450'F. Cook 90 minutes. Remove pot from oven. Pour off liquid into saucepan, bring it almost to a boil, and thicken with arrowroot mixed with 2 tablespoons of water. Serve with brown rice or bulgur. Pour sauce over rice and lamb.

Lamb tagine recipe. Moroccan tagine is a stew, classically incorporates savory and sweet ingredients with rich sauce. Today I will make lamb tagine with couscous. For my Moroccan tagine I am using 3.5lb leg of lamb.
Just follow my lamb tagine recipe and enjoy.
Lamb Tagine Ingredients:
3.5lb leg of lamb
Lamb Marinade (marinate your lamb for 4 hours or overnight):
10 saffron threads (cover with 2 tbsp hot water)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp coriander
¼ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp turmeric
Black pepper and salt
Olive oil
3 carrots
2 onions
12 dry apricots
4 cloves garlic
1 ½ tbsp ginger
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 lemon zest
1 tbsp honey
Cilantro stems
1 cup chickpeas (soak them in warm water overnight)
3 cups chicken stock
2 Ceylon cinnamon sticks
½ cup almond slivers
Couscous (cooking time 15 min):
2.5 cups Moroccan couscous
3.5 cups chicken stock
1 cup dry cranberries
Olive oil
Black pepper

Recipe: Lamb shank with honey and almonds
Hello everyone, today recipescooking.com presents the following recipe: Lamb mouse with honey and almonds
Here is the recipe in detail:
For 4 people
TOTAL TIME: 150 mins
Preparation: 40 mins
Cooking: 110 mins
Ingredients :
4 Small lamb shanks
400 g Couscous seed
2 large onions
150 g Almonds
150 g Chickpeas
1 tbsp. Honey
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 tbsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. tablespoon orange blossom water
70 g Butter
Salt
Pepper
Step 1: The day before, soak the chickpeas in water.
The same day, brown the sliced onions in a casserole dish with 20 g of butter. Reserve them.
Step 2: Replace them with the salted and peppered lamb shanks: brown them in 20 g of butter.
Drizzle with honey and let caramelize for a few minutes.
Step 3: Add the onions, drained chickpeas, cinnamon, ginger, salt and pepper.
For water to height, cover and cook for 1h30.
Step 4: Brown the almonds in a pan with 20 g of butter. Add them to the meat.
For the couscous into a dish. Drizzle it with oil and water, add 1 little salt and mix by hand.
Step 5: Leave to rest for 5 minutes then put it in the perforated basket of a couscoussier. Leave to cook for 20 mins.
Put the couscous back in the dish, fluff it with a fork then add 1/2 glass of water and mix by hand.
Step 6: Bake again for 20 minutes. Renew the operation once.
Shell the couscous, incorporating the rest of the butter. Shape into a dome and place the drained meat on top.
Step 7: Add 1 ladle of broth and serve the rest on the side.
