Easy, quick, sugar-free, with a sweet and chocolaty flavor, and fudgy enough to remind you real chocolate truffles. Only these chocolate balls are not chocolate truffles, but a lot healthier because they’re made of dates, nuts and cocoa. Also known as bliss balls (rightfully), they’re made in your food processor in a matter of minutes and they’re also customizable since you can use the type of nuts and the nut butter your prefer.

A sweet holiday treat for the grown ups, rum balls are that perfect blend between a cookie and a candy. This no bake recipe is so easy, you'll want to make these all year round.
Don't like rum, then try bourbon balls, or whiskey balls, or even wine balls. It is up to your imagination.
=== ???????????? RECIPE ===
2 1/2 cups (270 g) ground vanilla wafers (nilla wafers)
1 cup (111 g) ground pecans
1 cup (130g) powdered sugar (plus more for rolling)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (plus more for rolling)
3 ounces (90 ml) spiced rum or dark rum
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Sprinkles for rolling
Sweetened coconut for rolling
Place the vanilla wafers, pecans, powdered sugar and cocoa in a large bowl, whisk to combine.
In a smaller bowl, whisk together the rum, corn syrup, water and vanilla.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix to combine.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll tablespoon sized portions of the mixture between your palms to form a small ball. (I use an ice cream scoop to get consistent sizing.) Roll the rum balls in your choice of powdered sugar, cocoa powder, coconut or sprinkles.

Chocolate balls are a type of confectionery that is made primarily from chocolate. They are small, round-shaped treats that are typically enjoyed as a dessert or sweet snack. Chocolate balls come in a variety of flavors, shapes, and sizes, and they can be made with a range of ingredients that provide different textures and flavors.
History of Chocolate Balls:
The history of chocolate balls can be traced back to the early 19th century, when French chocolatiers began experimenting with new ways to make chocolate. At that time, chocolate was primarily consumed in the form of hot chocolate drinks or as solid bars. However, chocolatiers soon discovered that they could shape chocolate into small, bite-sized treats that were easy to consume and convenient to carry.
The first chocolate balls were likely made by hand, using simple tools and techniques to shape the chocolate. Over time, as chocolate became more widely available and production techniques improved, chocolatiers began experimenting with new flavors and ingredients to create a wide range of chocolate ball varieties.
Ingredients Used in Chocolate Balls:
Chocolate balls are primarily made from chocolate, which is a product of the cacao bean. Chocolate comes in many different forms, including milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate. Each type of chocolate has a unique flavor profile and texture, which can be used to create different types of chocolate balls.
In addition to chocolate, chocolate balls may contain a range of other ingredients that provide flavor, texture, and sweetness. Some common ingredients used in chocolate balls include:
Nuts: Almonds, hazelnuts, and other types of nuts can be added to chocolate balls to provide a crunchy texture and a nutty flavor.
Fruits: Dried fruits such as raisins, cherries, and cranberries can be added to chocolate balls to provide a sweet and tangy flavor.
Cream: Cream can be used to create a soft, smooth filling for chocolate balls. Cream can be flavored with a range of ingredients, including vanilla, coffee, or liqueurs.
Liqueurs: Chocolate balls can be infused with a range of liqueurs, including Grand Marnier, Kahlua, or Amaretto. These liqueurs add flavor and depth to the chocolate and can be enjoyed as a dessert or after-dinner treat.
Making Chocolate Balls:
The process of making chocolate balls can vary depending on the type of chocolate and ingredients used. However, there are some general steps that are typically followed when making chocolate balls:
Melt the chocolate: Chocolate is melted using a double boiler or microwave. This creates a smooth, liquid consistency that can be shaped into balls.
Shape the chocolate: Once the chocolate has been melted, it can be shaped into small balls using a spoon or mold. The balls can be coated with cocoa powder, sprinkles, or other toppings to add visual appeal.
Add filling: If the chocolate balls are filled with cream, liqueurs, or other ingredients, these are added once the chocolate has been shaped into balls. The filling is typically added to a hollow center in the chocolate ball, which is then sealed with more chocolate.
Chill the chocolate: Once the chocolate balls have been shaped and filled, they are chilled in the refrigerator or freezer until they are firm and ready to be consumed.
Types of Chocolate Balls:
There are many different types of chocolate balls available, each with a unique flavor and texture. Some common types of chocolate balls include:
Truffles: Truffles are a type of chocolate ball that is made with a soft, creamy filling. The filling is typically flavored with ingredients such as vanilla, coffee, or liqueurs.
Bonbons: Bonbons are small, bite-sized chocolate balls that are typically filled with nuts, fruits, or other ingredients. They are often coated with a
