How To make Javanese Peanut Pasta
2 ts Peanut oil
1 ts Dried pepper flakes, crushed
4 ea Scallions, trimmed and
-chopped 2 tb Dark brown sugar
4 tb Rice wine vinegar
1 ts Sesame oil
3 tb Soy sauce
1 ts Freshly grated ginger
1 ea Garlic clove, pressed
1 c Chunky peanut butter
1 c Chicken broth, defatted
1 lb Egg fettucine, cooked
GARNISH:
1/2 c Chopped toasted peanuts
2 ea Scallions, sliced
1 md Cucumber, halved, seeded,
-and thinly sliced 1 ea Sweet red pepper, cut into
-thin strips 1/4 c Shredded coconut (optional)
Heat oil in saucepan. Add red pepper flakes and cook over low heat for 1 minute. Add 4 chopped scallions; saute briefly, then remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic; mix thoroughly. Return pan to low heat. Add peanut butter a little at a time, stirring constantly. Add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Heat to piping hot. Place cooked fettucine in a large shallow bowl. Pour peanut sauce over and toss to combine. (If less sauce is desired, the excess sauce may be refrigerated and then reheated for other use.) Sprinkle with toasted peanuts and sliced scallions. Arrange cucumber slices in concentric circle around pasta. Arrange red pepper strips to radiate from center. Sprinkle coconut in middle of dish. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Javanese cuisine that's call PECEL | Indonesian Traditional cuisine
Pecel is a traditional Javanese salad, consisting of a mixed vegetables in peanut sauce dressing, usually served with steamed rice or sometimes with lontong or ketupat compressed rice cake.The peanut sauce used in pecel is also similar to gado-gado. Peanut sauce for pecel has no coconut milk. However pecel has been strongly associated with Javanese cuisine, while gado-gado is usually associated with Betawi and Sundanese cuisine. In Malaysia, it is called as pecal which is introduced by the Javanese immigrants. Pecel is also very popular in Suriname, where it was introduced by the Javanese Surinamese.
Ingredient
Pecel consists of boiled or blanched water spinach, spinach, bean sprouts, yardlong bean, cucumber, cassava leaf and lemon basil, poured with peanut sauce, made from ground fried peanuts mixed with water, salt, palm sugar, tamarind juice, chili pepper, galangal, kaffir lime leaf and garlic. Additional side dishes might be added in pecel dish, such as fried tempeh and tofu, perkedel kentang, bakwan jagung (vegetables and corn fritters) and crispy rempeyek peanut cracker or krupuk.

Ingredients for the noodles:
* 450 gr. noodles (bami)
* 3 chicken cubes
* 1 teaspoon MSG
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 tablespoon sugar
* 3 tablespoon soy sauce (black soy)
* Galangal (laos)
* Parseley
* 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce (optional)
* 1 onion + 4 cloves garlic
* 1 teaspoon black pepper
Ingredients for the chicken sate's:
* 2 teaspoon salt
* 2 chickencubes
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* BBQ sauce
* 2 teaspoon black pepper
Ingredients for the pepper (sambel):
* 5 red peppers
* 0,5 teaspoon onion powder
* 0,5 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* pinch of salt
* 0,5 tablespoon tomato paste

Peanut sauce recipe - quick & easy . Perfect for salads, stir fry, noodles, fried rice . I’ve even spread it on bread for dinner sometimes - yummy!
- 3 tbsp peanut butter
- 3 tbsp soya sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 lime squeezed
- 1 tsp honey chilli sauce
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- Salt to taste
Mix all ingredients together with some water for consistency.
