I used a tart pan for this pie because it give a decorative fluted rim and the lift out bottom is easy to remove.
Cranberry Nut Pie - Preheat oven 350 degrees
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
¾ cup cane sugar
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 cup whole cranberries, washed and sliced
½ cup pecans, chopped
DIRECTIONS: Cream butter, add sugar, mix well. Add egg, flour, fold in cranberries and nuts. Bake in 8-inch greased pie plate at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
