Mexican Chocolate Brownies with Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting
If you're a chocoholic like me, then these brownies are going to knock your socks off! Mexican Chocolate Brownies with Cinnamon Buttercream Frosting pair rich, moist, fudgy chocolate with a hint of spice and a cinnamon twist. Sounds good doesn't it?
Don't be intimidated by the chili powder in this recipe - it's a subtle kick of spice that's perfectly balanced with the sweet, creamy frosting. These brownies truly are delightful and once you try them you'll want to eat the whole batch!

These are also known as lunch lady brownies. They are very good, but very sweet! Enjoy :)
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
Frosting
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease a 9x13 pan and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine butter, cocoa and sugar. Mix in flour and beat well. Add in eggs and vanilla, mix just to combine.
Spread batter in prepared pan. Batter will be thick so you'll have to use a spatula to make sure you get to your corners.
Bake for 22-25 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Frost while still warm.
For frosting, sift together sugar, cocoa and salt. Cream butter in mixing bowl. Gradually add in sugar to butter, alternating with milk. Mix until creamy. Spread over warm brownies.

Please check out my bestie YT friend, Tammy (yoyomax12):
Tammy and I have been friends for many years and met here on YouTube! Since then we have met up in real life many times. You will LOVE her tutorials and learn how to decorate cupcakes better than most bakeries do. She lives in Canada, but I really wish she lived next door.
Also check out Jenn of cupcakesandcardio. You will love her as well.
Jenn and I have met in real life twice and done some video collaborations together. When we are together, we get each other. It is hard to explain to people sometimes what you do and it is nice to be comfy knowing that she also understands everything I am talking about. Oddly enough, she too lives in Canada. I may have to move there soon since such awesome ladies are produced there!
Lastly, smile! I like it when you smile :)
