How To Make A Winter Spiced Drink | Dairy Free and Nut Free Vegan Recipe
How To Make A Winter Spiced Drink | Dairy Free and Nut Free Vegan Recipe
My Chai. Is not a Chai at all. Reuben a college and now friend who does filming for me is from India. We have had many chats and disagreements over the years when it comes to a milky spiced hot tea. He likes his hot tea (chai) rich in black tea and I like mine richer in aromatic spices. My winter spiced drink vegan recipe not an authentic Chai by all means. But what makes this winter spiced drink so glorious? Well, it's simple, homemade with incredible little gems of whole food ingredients that you can find in any supermarket. And it's honest, but it's by no means a traditional Chai. Winter Spiced Drink is a spiced aromatic hot drink that's filled with love and I can only describe it as an apple pie in a cup flavour…it most definitely will give you a cuddle from the inside out when you feel you need a little self-love.
I trust you are well and in your flow. I know sometimes we consciously don't consider the little things that are a part of our BIG day of work. In our heads and out of our hearts as we steam ahead. A little reminder to me and to you is this, when you make this drink, pop your feet up and consider how wonderful your life is. We all get to be here in this magical human form with all our broken and lovable bits as it's most definitely a magnificent time to be on the planet.

6 Dried Dates, seeds removed
A pinch of Clove Powder
Seeds from 2 Cardamom Pods
A pinch of Nutmeg
Cinnamon Powder, as much as you like
A pinch of Salt
2 cups Coconut Milk (or any milk of your choice)
????????????????????????
Add all the ingredients to your blender.
Transfer the mixture to a pot on low heat. If you don’t want your drink to have chunks of dates, sieve it before pouring it into a pot.
Let the drink warm up while stirring it continuously to avoid burning.
Taste and add a sweetener of your choice (if needed).
Pour into cups, dust with cinnamon, and enjoy!
