How to make a Grown-up Orange Julius
Simple yet so different, the Julius Orange gets rid of a base spirit and replaces it with 2 oz of Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao. Obviously, this is a boozy riff on the Orange Julius and is the cocktail for Day 2 of Death & Co week where I'll highlight 7 cocktails from the 2014 book: ????

Authentic Fresh Orange Julius (Recipe Included!) | Fresh Orange Whip | California Grown
Our Orange Julius recipe calls for a mix of fresh California oranges that have been peeled and partially frozen and blended with honey, milk, and ice cream (Recipe Below). This frothy, creamy treat is pure nostalgia - a dead ringer for the mall favorite!
While the original Orange Julius contained pasteurized egg whites, ours doesn't - so you don't have to drink raw egg (are you Rocky Balboa? Didn't think so.) We've got the flavor & texture with none of the egg.
