How To make Hawaiian Kabobs
1 cn Pineapple chunks; 20 oz can
-unsweetened 2 lg Green peppers;
- cut into 1 inch pieces 1 lg Onion; quartered, optional
16 md Mushrooms; fresh
16 Cherry tomatoes
1/2 c Soy sauce; light
1/4 c Olive oil
1 tb Brown sugar
2 ts Ginger, ground
1 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Mustard, dry
1/4 ts Pepper
Cooked rice, optional Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup juice. Place pineapple chunks and vegetables in a large bowl; set aside. In a sauce pan, combine reserved pineapple juice with soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar and seasonings; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Pour over vegetable mixture; cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Remove pineapple and vegetables from marinade and reserve marinade. Alternate pineapple, green pepper, onion if desired, mushrooms and tomatoes on skewers. Grill kabobs for 20 minutes or until soft, turning and basting with marinade frequently. Serve over rice if desired.

Grilled Hawaiian Beef Kabobs
2 pounds Certified Angus Beef ® top sirloin steak, cut into 1 1/4-inch cubes
1 1/2 cups (12-ounce can) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup light molasses
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1-inch segment fresh ginger, peeled and minced (or 1 teaspoon ground ginger)
1 large red onion, cut into 1 1/4-inch pieces
2 large red bell peppers, seeded and cut into 1 1/4-inch pieces
1 medium fresh pineapple, cut into 1 1/4-inch cubes
8 bamboo or metal skewers

Hawaiian chicken kabobs recipe is very easy and healthy. These chicken kabobs/kebabs are flavor packed with chicken, veggies and fresh pineapple. Who doesn't like kabobs? This easy and healthy Hawaiian chicken kabob is grilled on a grill and sprinkled with paprika that results in a beautiful color. The most important step is to marinate chicken. Chicken is marinated in yogurt marinade. The chicken turned out tender and flavorful. I will show you how to make the delicious Hawaiian chicken kabobs by providing detailed easy and clear directions for you. I also made Greek yogurt dipping sauce. I used metal skewers to thread chicken and vegetables.

INGREDIENTS:
4 chicken breasts
1 pineapple
3 bell peppers
1 red onion
THE MARINADE for chicken:
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 lime
2 tbsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp ground paprika
THE DIPPING SAUCE:
1/2 cup Greek yogurt/plain yogurt
salt, pepper to taste
juice of 1/2 lemon
chopped parsley

Grilled Chicken and Pineapple Kabobs with Hawaiian Rice Recipe (gluten free)

Pineapple Chicken Kabobs with Hawaiian Rice
Chicken Kabobs:
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 pineapple, cut into bite size pieces (save about ½ cup for rice)
Marinade for chicken:
¼ cup pineapple juice
¼ cup soy sauce (If you are making this GF, be sure to use GF soy sauce)
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 -1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Mix all marinade ingredients. Pour over chicken. Marinate for at least 6 hours. Add chicken and pineapple to skewers. Grill until chicken is cooked through.
Hawaiian Rice:
1 ½ cups uncooked rice
¼ coconut oil
½ cup red pepper, diced
½ cup onion, diced
¼ cup pineapple, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup soy sauce
¼-1/2 cup pineapple juice, I start with a ¼ cup and then add more as it cooks down.
¼ shredded sweetened coconut (optional)
Cook rice. Meanwhile, heat coconut oil and saute red peppers and onions until tender. Add garlic and pineapple and saute for another minute. Add soy sauce and pineapple juice. Add rice and mix well. Add coconut, if desired.

Hi lovelies, another Sunday and another delicious appetizer recipe for you :) This one is however, the last one of my little series of Simple Appetizers, but I promise I will continue making these recipes for you once in a while in the future as well. Today's recipe is a great party appetizer I think, but it is also a great side to some rice, potatoes or salad for lunch or dinner.
