How To make Glazed Pork Loin Roast
1 ea Fresh Pork Loin Roast *
1 ea Clove Garlic, Cut into 1/4's
1 ts Salt
1 tb Orange Marmalade
1 ts Prepared Mustard
1/2 ts Dried Thyme Leaves
* Pork roast should be 2 to 2 1/2 lbs boneless roast. ~

Make 4 slits in fat on pork roast with tip of sharp knife, insert a piece garlic in each slit. Sprinkle roast with salt. Mix marmalade, mustard and thyme, spread on roast. Place roast in 16 x 10-inch cooking bag. Close bag loosely with string (leave hole the size of finger in closure). Place roast on microwve roast- ing rack in oblong baking dish 12 x 7 12 x 2-inches. Microwave on medium-low (30%) 30 minutes; turn roast over and turn dish one-half turn. Microwave until roast is done (170 degrees F on meat thermometer inserted in several different places in roast), 20 to 25 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes in bag in microwave. Serve with Meat Juices. -----

Ingredients
4 lb pork loin roast (See Note 1)
8 large red potatoes, quartered
1 large white onion, sliced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
Apricot Glaze
3/4 cup apricot jam (See Note 2)
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup dijon mustard
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all glaze ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Pat pork loin roast dry with paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
Add potatoes and onion to 13x9 baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle olive oil over and top with pork loin roast, fat side up.
Brush glaze on pork loin and roast uncovered at 350°F at 20 min/per pound. Baste several times while roasting. Pull from oven when internal temperature reaches 145°F and it will reach the desired 150°F while resting 10 minutes before slicing.
Note
1. We will be cooking a pork loin roast - Not to be confused with the thinner pork tenderloin. 3-4 lb pork loin roast at 350°F at 20 min/per pound. Feel free to brine prior to cooking if desired. Here is my go to Pork Brine recipe:
2. Feel free to substitute with peach or orange marmalade, both work well.
3. This glaze makes 1 3/4 cups total. Perfect for this pork loin roast or a chicken, but double glaze ingredients if basting a ham.

Bourbon Glazed PORK LOIN Sous Vide! No experiment just THE BEST PORK LOIN EVER!
This glazed pork loin came out perfect! The combination of cooking it sous vide and making an amazing bourbon glaze for this pork loin was the best ever. I started off by using a 6lbs pork loin which I got in my local supermarket. The pork loin was some what lean but I could tell it was fresh. The pork loin was so good that I did not have to trim it at all it was ready to go right from the store.
I put my on rub together with another rub I had purchased from the store, it was just perfect. This rub was so good that we all ended up wanting more from this awesome cook. Not to mention the glaze which I pour it over the pork loin in the mid of the searing process. I used the searzall for searing together with another torch to keep things nice and fast. It really came out amazing and I hope you guys really enjoy this recipe.

1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tbs Brown Sugar Bourbon
1 tbs Brown Sugar

5 tbs Brown Sugar
1 lbs Butter
1 Cup Bourbon of you choice
