Ingredients:
For the crust:
2¾ cups (250g) Rolled oats
1¾ cups (220g) Flour
3/4 cup (150g) Brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) White sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup (230g) Butter, cold
For the filling:
5 apples
2 tablespoons (15g) flour
2-3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C).
2. Make the crust: in a large bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add cold, cubed butter and mix with your hands until crumbly. Reserve two cups of the mixture in the fridge for a later use.
3. Press the remaining crust mixture into a baking pan (13*9 inch). Press firmly.
4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then set aside.
5. Make the filling: peel the apples, then thinly slice. Arrange apple slices in a row on the cooled crust.
6. Sprinkle the apples with flour, sugar and cinnamon. Then, crumble the reserved crust mixture.
7. Bake for 35 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the apples are tender.
8. Allow to cool, then cut into bars.
Notes:
• In the video you can see I’ve arranged apple slices in one row, but after trying it, I think it’s not enough, try layering two layers or more (5 apples should be enough).

---------------------------------- RECIPE ------------------------------------
Ingredients
* 1/2 cup (115 g) soft Butter cut into cubes
* 1+1/2 cup (300 g) Sugar
* 2 large Eggs (120 g) or 3 small eggs
* 2 +3/4 cups (340 g) all-purpose flour
* 1 1/2 cup (135 g) Rolled Oats
* 1/4 cup (30 g) Cornstarch
* 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
* 1/2 teaspoon Salt
* 1 cup (120 g) Raisins
* 1 cup (100 g) Walnuts chopped
Instructions
2. In a large bowl, cream together soft butter and sugar until just combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. Add all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt and stir until combined. Stir in rolled oats, raisins and walnuts (optional)
4. Separate dough into large balls (160 - 170 g) and place on a plate. Chill for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 425 F (220 C) degrees.
6. Place on to the baking tray. You will fit 4-6 cookies on one large cookie sheet. The dough makes 7-10 extra large cookies.
7. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown on the top. Let them rest for at least 10-15 minutes to set on the tray.
❗️Measurements Note: All recipes have been developed using weight measurements. Although US volume measurements have been included for your convenience, it is highly encouraged that you weigh your ingredients using a kitchen scale to get the best possible results. Due to the sensitive nature of baking, kitchen scales are proven to yield more accurate and consistent results than measuring cups. Enjoy!

How to make Nutella Dough Cups!
Hey guys, I'm Eloise! I make simple recipe tutorials across my social media ????
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone for your incredible love and support following my book announcement this week ❤️ Thank you for all your pre-orders!! I’m completely overwhelmed! ????

Have you ever tried Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies in Orlando, Florida!? ????
If you have, you will already recognise these cookies ????
Their cookies weigh half a pound (225g), they’re super thick and soft and they’re absolutely covered in chocolate chips! ????
I’ve been working on a recipe to try and replicate these cookies as best as possible for ages now, and I finally did it (after about 4 attempts) ????
Sound on for full instructions ????
All you need is:
215g unsalted butter, cold & cubed
200g light brown sugar
100g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
450g plain flour
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp salt
250g chocolate chips + 300g for rolling
Sea salt flakes, for sprinkling (optional but recommended)
Bake 200C (fan) 8-10 mins - let them cool fully on the tray before moving/eating them!
Makes 12 giant cookies (mine weighed about 140g each once baked)
Top Tips:
⭐️ Use cold, block butter, not the spreadable stuff or margarine
⭐️ Roll the dough into 100g balls, roll them in the chocolate chips, then press them in so they don’t fall off - leave the base clear
⭐️ Refrigerate the balls for at least 8 hours before baking. I chilled mine overnight
⭐️ Bake in the centre of the oven at a high heat, this will stop them from spreading too much
⭐️ As soon as they come out the oven, press extra chocolate chips into the cookies to fill any gaps and carefully replace any burnt ones with new ones (no one will know ????)
Happy Monday everybody! Enjoy ????
