How To make French Meatballs
1 lb Lean Hamburg
1/4 lb Sausage meat
1 ea Onion
1 t Parsley
1 c Dry bread soaked in the milk
1 ea Egg
1/4 c Milk
Combine meats, onions and parsley. Add bread, egg, salt & pepper. Chill. Form into small balls and roll in flour. Brown on all sides in fry pan. ~----Sauce: 2 tblsp. butter, 2 tblsp. flour, 2 cups consomme, parsley,tyme and bay leaf. Melt butter, stir in flour and then add consomme and seasonings. Stir till thickens and add meatballs, simmer for 20 min.

INGREDIENTS WITH GRAM AMOUNTS
For the caramelized onions
2 tablespoons (28g) olive oil
2 large yellow onions - sliced thinly from root to stem
3 ounces (90g) water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons (28g) butter
For the meatballs
1 1/2 pounds (680g) ground chuck
1/4 cup (60g) milk
3/4 cup (90g) Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
5 cloves garlic paste
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon (6g) salt
1 teaspoon (2g) black pepper
2 large eggs
olive oil for frying
Finishing the dish
4 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 tablespoons (12g) flour
1/2 cup (120g) dry red wine
2 cups (480g) low-sodium chicken stock
1 teaspoon thyme leaves
1 tablespoon (15g) brandy or sherry optional
2 cups (230g) Swiss cheese - sliced or shredded, divided
salt and pepper - to taste
12 slices baguette - toasted with or without cheese

How to make Swedish Meatballs | Homemade Ikea Meatballs
Juicy flavour-packed meatballs in that classic rich and creamy Swedish meatball sauce.
It makes such a great comforting dinner served with mashed potato and of course some lingonberry jam (although I've got some other suggestions if you can't find it).

Swedish Meatballs Ingredients:
Meatballs:
500 g (1lb)beef mince - ideally 20% fat
250 g (1/2 lb)pork mince
1 onion - finely chopped
1 clove of garlic - minced
4 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
1 medium egg
5 tbsp (75ml) full-fat milk
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp white pepper
¼ tsp allspice
2 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp plain - all-purpose flour
180 ml (3/4 cup) beef stock
120 ml (1/2 cup) vegetable stock
120 ml (1/2 cup) double (heavy) cream
2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp salt
To Serve:
Finely chopped fresh parsley
Creamy mashed potato
Lingonberry jam - or redcurrant jelly
Green veg – such as broccoli or green beans

Instant Pot - French Onion Meatballs
Welcome to my channel!
In todays video I convert one of my favorite Crock-pot recipes in my Instant Pot.
This is a delicious and simple recipe. Give it a try!
Recipe:
Instant Pot French Onion Meatballs
Ingredients:
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can cream of onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Approximately 1 cup water
2-3 lbs frozen meatballs
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, add soups and soup mix. Mix well until combined.
2. Add half of water and stir till mixed.
3. Add frozen meatballs to mixture. Stir to coat meatballs well.
4. Spoon mixture into Instant Pot.
5. Pour rest of the water around the meatball mixture.
6. Place lid on Instant Pot.
7. Make sure pressure knob is set to the sealed position.
8. Click on the Manual button and set the timer for 12 minutes.
9. When time is up click the Cancel button and do a quick pressure release.
10. Serve
