These FISH TACOS are absolutely delicious, the most important part of making truly delicious fish tacos starts with the seasoning of the batter and of course the toppings. I started seasoning from the inside out, making every bite an explosion of flavor... nothing is worse than a bland batter. For my sauce, I used the adobo sauce from a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce for the best smokey flavor, then I mixed it in with a combination of mayonnaise and sour cream with a splash of lime juice to make my sauce super delicious. For my breading, I used the amazing combination of paprika, cumin, garlic, onion powder and then cayenne pepper to give it an amazing kick, I added Panko bread crumbs and all purpose flour with some beer for the best textured batter no doubt! To make my pico slaw, I combined diced purple onions with diced tomatoes, cilantro and finely diced jalapeño with the juice if 1 lime, salt, pepper and 3 cups of finely shredded cabbage...I assembled my fish tacos by starting with a good rub of my sauce on my corn tortilla, I topped it with some of my pico/slaw then my fish then my pico/slaw again, then i topped it with my sauce one last time, and to finish, I added 1 slice avocado on top...I then realized I had created a masterpiece. ❤

✅marinade for at least 1 hour
✅grill the whole steak first then chop but if you want to chop the meat first then you can do that but keep in mind your meat is going to go through the boiling process rather than grilling

4 lbs beef steak I’m using flap(ranchera)
1/4 onion
3 garlic cloves
Handful of cilantro
7 oz beer
2 tsp magi seasoning or Worcestershire sauce
Juice of 1 lemon or 1 tbsp
3 tbsp chef merito steak seasoning
1 tsp lemon pepper
Salt to taste

3 roma tomatoes
Chile de árbol
1 garlic clove
1 tsp white vinagre
1/4 tsp oregano

1 jalapeño or Serrano

Easy Vegan TVP Backpacking Tacos - Freezer Bag Cooking
These vegan backpacking tacos are a quick and filling dinner that's easy to make on the trail. They are made from TVP (textured vegetable protein) along with dried spices that can be mixed together ahead of time. To cook the tacos simply add boiling water using the freezer bag cooking method and wait 10 mins. Vegan | Gluten-free

These fish tacos are fast, easy and fantastic

Who knew you could make smashing fish tacos with tempura hake (and some veggies) from the freezer section? We did. You’re welcome.
Easy frozen fish tacos
Heat the oven to 180°C and bake corn taco shells until golden brown. Bake Woolworths Frozen Tempura Hake portions according to the package instructions.
Meanwhile, make a tangy avocado drizzle: Blend 1 ripe avocado with the juice and zest of 1 lime, 1Ž2 cup crème fraîche, 2 chopped spring onions, a handful of coriander, sea salt to taste, and a little water to loosen the mixture.
For your taco veggies, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan and add 300 g frozen peas and sweetcorn kernels. Dust with 5–10 g of Woolworths Enchilada or Fajita Spice and toss to coat for a minute or two, until the veggies are just cooked but still crunchy and bright.
For your pink onions, slice one red onion thinly, season with salt and massage some lime juice into the onions. Set aside for a few minutes to allow the flavours to merge.
To serve: Scoop the hake portions into the tacos, add a spoonful or two of fried veggies, as well as the marinated onions, drizzle with the green avo sauce, add some sliced chillies and fresh coriander and dig in.
