Beer Battered Fish Tacos - Mexican Food - Easy Recipes
Traveling to Baja California is such a wonderful time. You are greeted with wonderful people and they treat you very well. I love eating at seafood restaurants when I travel to Ensenada and Rosarito. The weather is beautiful during the summer, there is nothing better than eating at a seafood restaurant and taking a walk on the beach. This recipe will give you that Baja style feel and is packed with flavor.

Beer Battered Fish tacos recipe:
4 fillets White fish
1 cup flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup Mexican beer
2 tbsp Mexican Crema
1 tbsp Mayo
1 lime
Mix about 2 tbsp of Mexican crema and 1 tbsp of Mayo and squeeze in one lime. Season with a touch of salt and mix well. You can add a splash of hot sauce aswell.

Get a cold michelada out because today I’m going to share with you how to make the best fish tacos, seriously the best!!! This is my moms way of making fish tacos she uses saletine crackers to help the fish come out a bit crispier like I mentioned you can use mineral water instead of beer, if you choose to use beer I recommend Modelo. Ingredients: 12 tacos
Oil
Tortillas
Wet Batter:
2 lbs Alaskan cod fillets
2/3 cup all purpose flour
20 saltines crackers; pulverized
1 egg
12 oz beer or mineral water
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic salt
Dry mixture: you can get way with using (1/2) for 2lbs ????
1 c all purpose flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Jalapeño sauce:**if you can’t find crema Mexican use 1cup sour cream and 2 tbsp pickled jalapeños juice ????
1 cup Mexican cream
2 tbsp mayo
5-6 chopped pickled jalapeños
1/2 lemon
Garlic salt
Black pepper
Pico de gallo:
1/4 purple cabbage
1/4 green cabbage
1/4 chopped onion
2 chopped roma tomatoes
1 chopped cucumber
Chopped cilantro
2 limes
Garlic salt
Black pepper

Fish Taco Recipe
For the Tilapia
Season 4 pcs of tilapia fillets with salt and pepper.
To prepare the pico
2 ea tomatoes, remove the seeds
1/2 onion
1 ea jalapeño, take out the seeds
1/2 yellow bell pepper
Small bunch of cilantro
1 ea lime
Salt to taste
For the creamy avocado sauce
2 ea ripe avocados, halved, seeded and peeled
1 ea garlic clove
1 ea lemon
1/2 cup of olive oil
1/2 cup of sour cream
3 ea chilli dried chilli piquin pods
Sal to taste
Garnish
6 thinly sliced radishes
Slaw
Shred about 1/2 a cabbage
-Wash and let dry
*Will need store bough tortillas
Tempura batter
2 cups of all purpose flour, sifted (no lumps)- Lightly season w/ salt and pepper
2 eggs, beat
2 cups of ICE COLD WATER

Ingredients:
1 lb Cod Filets
1 can mexican beer
1.5 cups all purpose flour
1 packet Sazon
Peanut or Vegetable Oil for frying
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, chili powder - to taste
Pickled Onions:
1 red onion
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1-2 tbsp white sugar
salt & pepper
Directions: Cut fish into bite sized pieces prior to frying. Season both sides lightly. Mix beer, flour, and seasoning until it reaches pancake batter consistency. Get your oil up to 350 degrees and coat each piece of fish in batter before placing in your fryer. Fry fish until golden brown (roughly 3-5 minutes) - Place on wire rack to drain and prepare your tacos with your preferred toppings.

1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder

1 Tbs olive oil
About 8 corn tortillas
For the coleslaw
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups shredded cabbage mix (coleslaw)
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1 whole jalepeno pepper
2 tsp honey
